Railways win the Women's Senior One Day Trophy 2021!

That's it for this game everyone!! We hope that you enjoyed this live coverage between Jharkhand and Railways. Stay tuned on Sportskeeda for all the live cricketing updates from around the world. This is Navjeevan Rajput and alongside me, Pratyush Rohra signing off till then take care and stay safe!!
Both the batters found the odd boundaries well to get their side and got their side closer and closer to the win. Once the runs needed came under 20 runs, Sneh took her chance as she looked in a hurry to lift the trophy as she collected 20 runs from it and got Railways across the finish line.
Meghana as well lost her wicket batting on 53 runs as she looked a bit casual to get back into her crease. Mona and Sneh the new batters in for Railways took their time as they did not have the pressure of the required run rate and kept the scoreboard moving with ones and twos.
She tried to play one shot too many and lost her wicket batting on 59 runs. Meghana in the following over reached her half-century as well. Jharkhand found a wicket but it was just a bit too late for them as Railways by then just needed 57 runs to chase down the target.
Punam played a couple of aerial shots and reached her half-century, her partner soon after reached her half-century as well. The duo also stitched a 100 runs partnership between the two. Punam was looking explosive once she reached her half-century.
Post-drinks, Jharkhand skipper Niharika introduced herself and Devyani into the attack against Punam and Meghana who were pummeling their primary spinners. Both the batters looked well set and showed no signs of stopping.
As the spinners were brought from both ends, Railways batters took on the attack against them and started to find boundaries consistently. Jharkhand were forced into putting a defensive field as runs started to flow in for Railways.
Punam and Meghana were not allowed easy runs as Ashwani and Shanti bowling kept things tight and had fine variations while they bowled. Spinner Mamta was introduced at the 10 over mark and Meghana took charge against here.
Punam found the first boundary for Railways as Jharkhand bowler Ashwani gave away a few looseners. Jharkhand overall looked very aggressive as they did not look to give an inch and continued to build pressure on Railways batters.
It was a new opening pair for Railways in the finals as Sabbhineni Meghana and Nuzhat Parween came out to the middle. Parween lost her wicket right in the second over as she ran for a suicidal run out. Punam Raut then came out to the middle for Railways.
The dominance of Railways in the Women's Senior One Day Trophy continues as they have won the title for the 12th time. After that no-ball, Sneh just looked like she wanted to finish off the match in that over and she did just that as she took Ritu to the cleaners. That was also the most expensive over of the innings.
