Karnataka beat Railways by 1 wicket, pocket six points.
For long, it seemed as though Karnataka's chase would be derailed but Manish Pandey's unbeaten 67-run vigil saw the team home by a solitary wicket in Surat. Mohammad Saif (82) had good company from the tail as they wagged to stretch the Railways' lead to 225, setting Karnataka a challenging target in the process. While Vyshak Vijaykumar bagged a five-fer, he would go on to play an even bigger role with the bat as he walked out with the score reading 133/7. His 38 was instrumental in Karnataka storming back into the chase as he forged a partnership of 64 runs for the eighth wicket with Pandey. At 214/9, the game sat on a knife-edge before Pandey took matters into his own hands to wrap things up, rendering his namesake Akash Pandey's five-fer moot. Karnataka now have 21 points to their name as they continue to occupy top spot in Group B.
