FC Viktoria Berlin - 114/6, beat RC Dresden - 111/7, by 4 wickets.
Shahbaz Muhammad 26 (21) | Zamir Haider 23 (7) || Amrit Pal - 2/9 | Belal Zadran - 2/22
Waqas Virk 36 (16) | Zahid Mahmood - 3/6
It had to come down to the last ball for FC Viktoria Berlin to win this, but with four runs needed off it, hitting a six by facing his first ball was simply outstanding from Munir Hussain!
And what a match it was! This innings in particular had it all! A flying start, some fall of wickets, a rain delay, some stunning catches, some sitters dropped, some top deliveries and finally, some wonderful composure under pressure!
Not to forget, five penalty runs were given to RC Dresden in the first innings!
Amrit Pal needs to be given a lot of credit for both the way he batted and the way he bowled! Waqas Virk too was an all-round performer for RC Dresden, and who can forget that stunner at deep square-leg to dismiss a key batter right after the rain break!
But, it is only fair that both teams are on the board having played two matches against each other! A fantastic start to the Dresden leg of the ECS though!
That will be all from Rugby Cricket Dresden EV for now until we resume with the next game starting in a bit! This is the pair of Pradeep and Bidipto, saying good bye! Keep following Sportskeeda!

9.6 Belal Zadran to Munir Hussain, SIX! BOOM! MUNIR YOU BEAUTY! The players storm out to the ground, Munir is surrounded and VIK celebrate the win, what a shot that from Munir and what a game of cricket we've witnessed, agony for Belal Zadran in the end. Munir had to connect this and he SMOKES that one over deep square-leg for a maximum. FC Viktoria Berlin have evened things out now with this win as they register their two points on the points table.
Four runs to get off one ball!
Munir Hussain, RHB, is at the crease.
9.5 Belal Zadran to Shahbaz Muhammad, OUT! CLEANED HIM UP! What an over this is from Belal Zadran. Back of a length on the middle and leg, Shahbaz plays all over it as he misses, goes through to crash on to the stumps. Can Belal hold on to his nerver?
Shahbaz Muhammad b Belal Zadran 26 (21b, 3x4, 1x6)
Four runs to get, two balls remaining!
9.5 Belal Zadran to Shahbaz Muhammad, WIDE! Full but angles it way outside the off-stump, called a wide. Can Shahbaz finish it with a boundary of the next delivery?
Five runs required off two balls!
9.4 Belal Zadran to Bilal Hussain, still no boundary, Viktoria Berlin need something to happen in the very next delivery. Low full toss on the outside off, Bilal toe ends it to the keeper for a sharp single.
Six runs to get off three balls!
9.3 Belal Zadran to Shahbaz Muhammad, yorker length on the outside off, Shahbaz squeezes it straight to point and picks up a quick single.
Two swings and misses!
9.2 Belal Zadran to Shahbaz Muhammad, ANOTHER DOT! Pressure on Shahbaz now. Full on the fourth stump, Shahbaz swings at it and makes no connection again.
9.1 Belal Zadran to Shahbaz Muhammad, DOT BALL! GOLD DUST! Back of a length, angling across the right hander, Shahbaz on the backfoot goes to cut and misses.
Belal Zadran [1.0-0-13-1] is back into the attack.
The game is still not done! It is still anyone's to win! No doubt that the batting side is breathing heavily right now, they are feeling the pressure! 7 to get off 6 now!

8.6 Ijaz Ahmad to Shahbaz Muhammad, DEAR OH DEAR! The keeper almost made a mess of it but the third-man was very fine, he stops it as they get just a bye. Short into Shahbaz who was backing away to cut and gets beaten by pace, goes through the gloves of the keeper.
8.5 Ijaz Ahmad to Bilal Hussain, up in the air but lands safely. Back of a length on the middle and leg, Bilal went to pull but top edge's it down to third-man, that falls well short of the fielder, single taken.
8.4 Ijaz Ahmad to Bilal Hussain, back of a length on the leg-stump line, Bilal backing away has a wild swing at it and misses, DOT BALL!
8.3 Ijaz Ahmad to Shahbaz Muhammad, back of a length on the off-stump, Shahbaz on the backfoot looking to slap that one away but mistimes it to mid-off region for one.
