As was expected, Bayer Spartans coasted to a mammoth victory over Rhein-Ruhr Sports. Although the victory of the Spartans was expected, such a huge margin was not. Winning by a hundred runs will give the Spartans a lot of confidence going further into the tournament.

Rhein-Ruhr Sports will feel that they gave away far too many runs with the ball in hand. Their shoulders were stooped and it appeared as if they had lost the game when it was only halfway through. This should spur them forward to do better in the other games that they will play.
