With that, RIW finally face their first defeat of the tournament in what was a nail-biting contest against BAR.
Mohsin who came on to bowl the final over had just 3 overs to play with, he was too good as he did not allow any runs to be scored on the first four balls but BAR ran a couple on the fifth ball and tied the game. On the final ball, Mohsin bowled it down the leg conceding a wide which allowed BAR to get over the line.
BAR although needed the two new batters to just do some sensible batting and just work the ball around by taking the game deep. Sharjeel contributed with 13 runs off 8. They, unfortunately, went too deep as some brilliant bit of bowling by Prince and Mohsin really bought RIW back into this contest.
BAR continued to lose a couple more wickets in quick succession which included another big wicket of Hamza wh was batted well for his 29 runs as well. BAR needed just 34 runs in 30 balls as the asking rate was not an issue for them.
BAR had the best of powerplay for the tournament for sure as they scored 61 runs in just 18 balls! Thins took a tun post the powerplay overs as Aamir Shahzad drew the first blood and got the big wicket of Syed Ali batting on 32 runs.
In the second over, Syed storm arrived at Montjuic ground as he started to send the balls out of the ground. 26 runs were scored in the second over and Hamza joined in on the act and also scored the boundaries.
Coming in to chase 112 runs, BAR had a good start as openers Syed Shafaat Ali and Hamza Azhar started to find the boundaries early on in the innings. The duo kept finding the boundaries and also kept the scoring rate in check.
What great final over thriller this match, in the end, turned out to be. Mohsin bowled a fantastic final over really got his side back till the end but just failed to close it out as he bowled a wide when the scores were tied. BAR with that have somehow cross across the finish line

9.2 Mohsin Ali to Nabeel Qaiser, full outside the off-stump, the batsman gets a genuine outside edge but the bowler drops a straightforward catch
9.1 Mohsin Ali to Ali Syed, OUT! Right in the blockhole, tries to go over long-on but gets beaten comprehensively and the ball castles onto the stumps. Syed tried to go for the glory shot and has lost his wicket here, 6 wickets down for BAR, 3 runs needed off 5 balls now!!
It's Mohsin Ali who will bowl the final over
Down to just 3 runs needed from the final over. Prince who bowled the penultimate over had a lot of gaps in the field which allowed BAR batters to collect the singles and get it down to just 3 runs. Who will come on to bowl the final over for RIW??
