Right so, the Gladiatori fought hard for a while but this target was always going to be too far away from their reach. In the end they fell short by a huge margin and have handed over the Royal Roma a victory by a big margin of 50 runs.

They were kept in the hunt for the first phase of the innings due to superb hitting prowess of Mubarak Hossain and Mukhtiar Singh. The duo took on the seam bowlers and peppered the on side boundary. It was good while it lasted but the pressure of the run rate was too big on them and they collapsed in the end being under the pump.

The bowlers held their nerve and came back superbly at the back end of the innings as they gave away just 22 runs from the final four overs of the innings. The likes of Umar Shahzad and Nauman Khalil became the wrecker in chiefs for the Royal Roma side as they gave away less than 8 runs per over and managed to pick up a couple of wickets in the process.
