Scorecard
ROT won by 8 wickets
Player of the match: Abhitesh Prashar

Royal Tigers - 98/2 in 8.2 overs (Khaibar Deldar 44 off 19 balls, Rahul Goyal 1/16 in 1.2 overs) beat Budapest Blinders - 92/7 in 10 overs (Maaz Bhaiji 28 off 21 balls, Abhitesh Prashar 2/15 in 2 overs) by 8 wickets with 10 balls to spare and qualify for the final.

So the Budapest Blinders have to do it the hard way by winning Qualifier 2, after being unable to stop the onslaught from the Royal Tigers, right from the first ball in the second innings. There were a few lapses in the field as well to rub salt to the would, but by then itself, things were pretty much done and dusted.

The batting from Royal Tigers was up to the mark, with the intent to score heavily right from the start and there were some seriously hard hits every over from all the batters. All the loose deliveries were dispatched for fours and sixes and there was no intention to keep the balls down or show resect to some good balls either. They went hell for leather and got the job done without a fuss.

Budapest Blinders could have used Rahul Goyal a bit earlier and changed their pace a lot more. They fed the Tigers with too many gifts on all lengths and got clobbered all round the park.

Now, it is time to see who makes the final from the second qualifier, coming your way in a little more than an hour from now. For now, this is the pair of Pragadeesh and Bidipto, saying good bye! Stay tuned to Sportskeeda for the final two games from the GB Oval!

8.2 Rahul Goyal to Zeeshan Kukikhel, FINISHES IT OFF IN STYLE. Short delivery and Zeeshan slams the pulls over deep mid-wicket and gets a maximum.

Royal Tigers Cricket Club book their place in the mega-final for the second successive season, while Budapest Blinders will face United Csalad in qualifier 2
8.1 Rahul Goyal to Zeeshan Kukikhel, length delivery angling across, defended on the front-foot
Royal Tigers have gone about the chase really well. Yes they have been helped in the field and with the ball, but then, they have made use of all those opportunities to get to such a good position with only one run left to get!

7.6 Haris Mehraj to Khaibar Deldar, THAT'S A BIGGIE. Fuller delivery on off, Deldar stays deep in the crease and launches it over long-off for a maximum. This is ball striking of the highest order from Deldar and what a knock he's playing in this crunch game
7.5 Haris Mehraj to Zeeshan Kukikhel, DROPPED AGAIN! Length delivery middle and leg, Zeeshan pulls it straight to deep mid-wicket and the fielder spills an easy catch
7.4 Haris Mehraj to Zeeshan Kukikhel, length delivery around off, Zeeshan swings and misses
7.3 Haris Mehraj to Zeeshan Kukikhel, length delivery outside off, Zeeshan moves across and scoops it past fine leg for a boundary. He is in a hurry to finish things now
7.2 Haris Mehraj to Zeeshan Kukikhel, Dropped! Length delivery around off, Zeeshan stays tall and hits it hard back to the bowler but Mehraj fails to grab it. Touch chance though
7.1 Haris Mehraj to Khaibar Deldar, back of a length delivery, Deldar clears his front leg and plays an uppish pull towards long-on for a single
Haris Mehraj [1.0-0-14-0] is back to bowl.

Could Rahul Goyal have not been introduced into the attack earlier? Well we will never know but he has certainly bowled well in his first over. Changing the pace is always recommended in this format, and perhaps the change is a little too late. Anyway, a good start with the bat for Zeeshan Kukikhel!
