It was a rain curtailed innings and the Rungetters needed a difficult 61 from 5 overs! However they faltered way short of the target a they couldn't keep up with run rate! It was Nicholas Sookdeosingh who played a lone hand as he remained unbeaten on 25 from 16 balls! The rest of the batters scratched around and couldn't contribute anything significant!

The Scorchers bowlers did well and kept things tight! They built up the pressure on the batters and ensured that they couldn't get away with the game! In a rain curtailed game, it was those couple of tidy overs at the start that made all the difference! Tion Webster, Williams and Charles, all picked up a wicket each!
