As clinical and disdainful a run chase as you will see in the T10 format. Seaside looked all at sea for the first six overs when they had the ball in hand but once they pulled things back to restrict Jinnah CC Stockholm to 122, they would have had an added spring into their step. And it clearly showed in the way they went about their work to make light work of what was expected to be a tough chase.

Skipper Shafaat Ali Syed and Umair Chaudhry were in a menacing mood as they didn't let a superb opening over from Tasaduq Hussain bog them down. Jamal Nasir's over - the second of the innings - was a sign of what was to follow as he completely lost his radar, even sending down a couple of beamers that completely handed over the momentum to the opening batters. Once 32 runs were reeled off that over, one would have thought Tasaduq had to bowl his second instantly to pull things back. Instead, a 24-run over from Sharjeel Sadaqat buried the game for good.

The boundaries continued to flow at will and it was a good old fashioned hammering that both openers were determined to dish out. That is exactly what transpired as they racked up their respective half-centuries to send the bowlers into submission. Of course, Jinnah CC's bowlers didn't help themselves by dishing out scoring opportunities on a platter, but it was truly a sight to behold given the way Shafaat and Umair went about their work.

Despite Umair's wicket, the result was never to come under doubt. And fittingly, it was the skipper who finished it off in style with Shafaat clearing the fence to wrap up a resounding victory for Seaside, who will look to use this result as a confidence-booster as they seek to generate consistent momentum. As for Jinnah CC, this will hurt. But they have to take it on the chin and move forward with the competition heating up.

A fitting end to what has been a colossal run-chase! Seaside have been simply brutal in their approach and they have swatted this target aside without breaking a sweat. Unbelievable performance that sees them win with 20 deliveries to spare!
