Karun Nair (Mysore Warriors): (On the turnaround after losing two games) It was about getting off the mark first, which we did in the previous game and then, continued the good bowling today as well. Having said that, the batting should have given us more runs after the kind of start we got. (On the way the team operates) The Mysore Warriors have always strived for excellence. The players know what to do and there is enough professionalism in the squad to get the job done.

Codanda Ajit Karthik is the Player of the Match for his match-winning all-round performance - 46 (29) and 2/28 (4)!

A nail-biting contest which MW seals in the end by 12 runs and end SL's unbeaten streak. After posting a competitive target of 191 runs, MW started strong by dismissing opener Nihal Ullal early.

However, the pair of Rohan Naveen and Rohan Kadam made amends and steered the scoreboard at a steady rate to shift the momentum back in their favour. Abhinav Manohar and Shreyas Gopal took on the onus and looked well-settled in the middle to take their team over the finishing line but the MW bowlers stepped up to the occasion and delivered the goods late to pull them back into the contest.

In the end, it was a little too much left as a late quickfire cameo from Shivaraj S brought them close to the target, but fell short by 12 runs.

For MW, Venkatesh M was the star performer with his three wickets while CA Karthik and Monish Reddy finished with two scalps each.

With the victory, MW win their second game in 4 matches while SL face their first defeat of the tournament.
