As was expected, Snasy just could not come to grips with the excelling bowling put on display by Donaustadt. Although they did get off to a good start, they could not capitalise on it and were floored by the variety on offer by the bowlers of Donaustadt.

It was especially the spinners of the latter side who troubled the batters of Snasy the most. Osman Khan had a terrific game and ensured that Snasy just could not come to grips with the way he was turning the ball. This win will give Donaustadt a lot of confidence.

We expect them to take this further into the competition as well as their next game, in which they take on Vienna CC. That will be a very interesting encounter given the number of big hitters present in both sides. Snasy, on the other hand, will be looking for a place to hide.
