Right then! A somewhat underwhelming semi-final for the neutral, but it's the Sri Lanka Legends who get through to the finals. It'll be an eagerly awaited one too, being a replay of the 2011 World Cup final. A lot of players from both teams involved in that iconic game, this Road Safety Series Final will be another awaited encounter by many ardent fans around the world! We'll be bringing you all the action from that one as well. Until then, this is Pratyush Rohra, signing off on behalf of my colleague, Pradeep. Take care and goodnight!
Nuwan Kulasekara, Man of the Match : I'm very happy with my performance and thoroughly enjoyed it. The captain trusts me in the powerplay and in the death. I just stick to the basics and give my 100 percent. I used to do this role during my playing days for the national side and did the same today. Gave my 100 percent for my captain and my team.
Tillakaratne Dilshan : Toss is really important. We have a strong batting line-up, so we are able to chase totals. The players are doing well in all departments, hopefully we can produce it once more in two day's time. Everyone is enjoying their time out here, both on and off the field. They're keen to show their character from what they did 10-15 years ago, so that's why we're doing well. We want to thank the Sri Lankans and we're getting good support back home. Many people left work early and I heard that they were gathering in big numbers to watch this match on a big screen and clubs. Everyone else is doing okay, it's only my hammy is a bit bad. Big game. India have been playing really well but if we can continue this brand of cricket and apply ourselves in the final, I think we can cross the line.
Jonty Rhodes : Sri Lankans played really well, they kept the pressure on. We thought that we could put them under pressure by getting to 140 or so but they bowled really well, Kula and Sanath too. We struggled to get 11 semi-fit men for the game but that's no excuse. We've seen them training hard in the hotel and Sri Lanka have been terrific in their fielding, so it's not a surprise to see them do well. Well deserved. It's been an incredible experience. Good facilities in the hotel and the ground staff were also were brilliant throughout. We were looked after really well and the boys want to be back, not only to improve but to play for the fans again. The game against India was a great experience, with 30,000 people in to watch us play. (on the finalists) Two different style teams, interesting to see how they go against each other. India are a powerful side, while Sri Laka are pretty skillful. Should be a cracking final and hopefully I can get a seat for the same!
It was always going to be a huge ask for SL-L to defend a measly 126, but the early wicket of Dilshan might have given them a glimmer of hope. Sanath Jayasuriya seemed to find some of his form with the bat after an excellent performance with the ball, alongside Upul Tharanga, before the former was dismissed softly by Petersen. It was the Chinthaka Jayasinghe show from there on, who walked into a tricky situation to play a match winning knock of 47* off 25 balls, to see his side through to the finals!

It was the Sri Lanka Legend bowling line up that set up this game for them though. Morne van Wyk's valiant 50 was the only standout performance for their side, who looked well on song for at least 150 at one stage, but Jayasuriya's cracking spell in the middle overs pulled things back significantly.

Nuwan Kulasekara was eventually the star of the show, as he wrapped up the South African Legends tail to get a fifer! It has to be said the SL-L were the team that were up to the task in this match, as SA-L suffered another dreadful semi-final loss! The injuries didn't help them either and they were handed a severe thumping!
Sri Lanka Legends win the match by 8 wickets!
17.2 Jonty Rhodes to Chinthaka Jayasinghe, FOUR! This is some annihilation from SL-L here and they reach the finals and going to meet IND-L in the Finals! Full delivery on the off-stump as Jayasinghe stands back and absolutely hammers that one straight down the ground for a boundary to finish things in style!
17.1 Jonty Rhodes to Upul Tharanga, full toss on the wide of off-stump as Tharanga stands tall and slices that one away but the point fielder does well to stop it, single taken! SCORES ARE LEVEL
Jonty Rhodes comes into the attack.
It's a shame that Jayasinghe won't get a fifty to his name for this innings. It's been a fabulous innings and treat to watch, since the moment he has walked in.

Sri Lanka Legends need 2 runs in 18 balls.
Over: 17 | Summary: 0 1 4 0 1 1 Bowler: Makhaya Ntini Score: 124/2
16.6 Makhaya Ntini to Upul Tharanga, back of a length, shaping away from the left-hander on the outside off as Tharanga looks to defend it on the off-side but gets a thick outside edge as it runs down to third-man for a single
16.5 Makhaya Ntini to Chinthaka Jayasinghe, back of a length, shaped back into the right-hander as he Jayasinghe plays close to his body and drops it on the off-side, scampers through for a quick single

16.3 Makhaya Ntini to Chinthaka Jayasinghe, FOUR! WHAT A SHOT! He's been on song from the moment he's walked in. That was full on the outside off as he prods forward and creams that one through the extras cover region for a boundary!
16.2 Makhaya Ntini to Upul Tharanga, good length on the leg-stump line as Tharanga whips that one away to the short fine-leg fielder who runs across to stop it with a dive, single taken
16.1 Makhaya Ntini to Upul Tharanga, good length on the off-stump line as Tharanga prods forward to defend it on the off-side
Makhaya Ntini is back into the attack.
Timeout!

Sanath Jayasuriya and Upul Tharanga were cruising along the run chase as they looked to take their time, but after the dismissal of Jayasuriya, it's been the Jayasinghe show! He walked in and changed the entire complexion of this match with some smart batting and conventional strokes, to put the SA-L bowlers under the pump! Just a matter of completing the formalities now.
They didn't have much to defend but it's been a poor performance by South Africa Legends with the ball as well. We saw SL-L mix it up nicely throughout their innings but there's been no such effort from the SA-L, who have just looked to bang it in short on most occasions. Sri Lanka Legends at the brink of the final!
