That brings us to the end of our coverage for the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup Qualifiers for today. Sri Lanka, along with Scotland and Oman, advance to the Super Sixes from Group B, while Ireland's wait to return to 50-over World Cup cricket goes on. There are two more matches to come tomorrow - keep an eye on our tabs for our coverage of the same. This is Rajarshi Das, signing off on behalf of Karthik Raj. See you later!
Dasun Shanaka, Sri Lanka captain: Everything is going in the right direction. We could have done better with the bat at the end. Probably the big hitting from myself and Wanindu didn't come off at the back end. We need to stand up in these kind of situations. When he captained and played the ODI series, it was a different combination. (On Dimuth Karunaratne) He's got the experience, playing ODI and Test cricket for so many years. He's the ideal character to have at the top of the order. We need to look at both options - give chances to the guys at the bench and take the points for the Super Sixes. (Dushmantha) Chameera is the key player going to the next round. We are playing according to the conditions. With the experience our guys have, I am very much confident on my team. We try to do our best regardless of situations.
Andrew Balbirnie, Ireland captain: We would have liked a few inroads early on with the ball, wasn't to be. We fought back well in the last half of the innings and restricted them to a score that we could have had a crack on. We didn't start well enough with the bat and get a good platform. (On Barry McCarthy) He's probably the life of the squad, he would give his 100 percent all the time. Those two wickets in two balls picked us up a bit after the slow start. He bowled pretty well, he was unfortunate with the extra man in at the end. We knew it was a pretty good pitch, been the case all competition. We knew that they had good spinners, they bowled well and cleaned us up. We're going to have to pick ourselves up pretty quickly, we're hugely disappointed. When you play for Ireland, there's a lot of pride involved. We would look to restore some of that in the next game and end the tournament on a good note.
Dimuth Karunaratne (Player of the Match): Wanted to always contribute to the team. End of the day, if I get a start, will go for a big one. That is what the team expects from me. During the first few overs, there is something on offer for the bowlers. So, I was respecting the good balls and waiting for the loose ones. I knew I can capitalize when the spinners come on. Just wanted to time the ball, run hard and that is why I got success. I hadn't scored an ODI century before this, maybe that's why I was nervous!
They did try to put up a fight, but Ireland were always going to come second against this Sri Lankan bowling attack. Ireland lost far too many wickets in trying to up the scoring rate throughout the innings, and as a result, saw their World Cup hopes go up in smoke. They desperately needed a partnership to stabilize the run-chase, but that wasn't to be.
While their top-order succumbed to some ordinary shot-selection, the middle-order tried to brave the threat from the spin-duo of Hasaranga and Theekshana, but there was always going to be one outcome out of it. Andy McBrine and Paul Stirling pierced the gaps to great effect and got Ireland off to a decent start. While the odd ball was keeping low, it was coming onto the bat quite nicely, and the two openers looked to make the most of it.
However, Ireland started to lose wickets against the run of play soon after. They lost both their openers to pace in the powerplay - Stirling flashed at one close to the tramline and was brilliantly pouched by Mendis behind the stumps, and McBrine pulled a long hop down the throat of fine leg. It was after the powerplay that the collapse began - Wanindu Hasaranga kept bamboozling the Ireland middle-order with his googlies and accounted for one of them after the other.
Both Harry Tector and Curtis Campher tried to go on the counter against the wrist spinner, but it was never going to be a solution. Tector was eventually trapped in front by yet another googly, and Campher fell trying to have a hack across the line against Theekshana. Ireland's tail had a good time - Joshua Little in particular, as the left-arm pacer swept his way to 20 before being the last man out.
Well, that's that! Hasaranga's gone for 79 out of the 192 runs in his 10 overs, but has a fifth wicket in an ODI innings for the third time in a row! Ireland's run in the World Cup Qualifiers comes to an end!

30.6 Wanindu Hasaranga to Josh Little, THIRD FIFER IN A ROW FOR HASARANGA! Googly on a length, Little looks to punch it down the ground but he hits it too straight. Hasaranga reacts sharply and takes a fine return catch to get another five-wicket haul in these Qualifiers. With that, Ireland have also been bowled out for 192 as Sri Lanka wrap up a 133-run victory!
Joshua Little c & b Wanindu Hasaranga 20 (14b 2x4 1x6)
That is certainly not a shot of a number 11!
30.5 Wanindu Hasaranga to Josh Little, WOW! LITTLE ON FIRE! Tossed up full on the stumps, Little gets down on his knee and nails the slog-sweep over deep mid-wicket for a maximum
30.4 Wanindu Hasaranga to Josh Little, googly on a full length, Little moves inside the line and tries to flick it fine but he misses it. Wide not called as the ball just passed the leg-stump!
30.3 Wanindu Hasaranga to George Dockrell, googly on a length, Dockrell punches it to long-off for a single
30.2 Wanindu Hasaranga to Josh Little, full, quick and down leg, Little reverse-sweeps it behind square for a single
30.1 Wanindu Hasaranga to Josh Little, googly on a length, Little goes back and works it to the right of long-on for a couple of runs
Right. Hasaranga is still one wicket away from a five-for. Just one over left in his quota of overs today.
