It has been a reveting tour of cricket and both the sides have put up some really good performances in it! Zimbabwe have been good in patches but when they haven't turned up, they've been as disappointing as they were today. They will have some soul searching to do but will be looking to come back stronger from here with the African Games coming up in Accra, Ghana. Sri Lanka on the other hand will be pleased with how they performed today and they will be looking to carry this momentum into their series against Afghanistan that will be beginning shortly.

Wanindu Hasaranga, Sri Lanka Captain- " I'm very relieved with this performance, especially after the second game. We focussed on our batting and fielding and tried to improve on those fronts. We kept the dew factor in our mind and decided to chase accordingly. We have a couple of more series coming up and we will be looking to improve on our fielding and batting front.

Sikandar Raza (Zimbabwe captain): No we didn't turn up today. 52 after 6 and then to be 82 all out, there is no explanation for that. We are trying our best but we are faltering in the mental aspect. We haven't found a consistent way. When we have been good we have been really good but when we are bad we are just too poor, nothing in between. We are having a lot of positive chats in the changing room but I have very big on how he train. Unfortunately, I feel that we are not training as professionally as we should be. I just think we are not trusting our skills when we should be. Certainly not all gloomy, it's a very tough place to come and play cricket. Credit to the pacers for remaining fit and bowled brilliantly. Our seamers has been our biggest positive in the series.

Angelo Mathews is the Player of the Series, here is what he had to say: Yeah it's a huge occasion for me especially because in the past 16 years my mom and dad weren't present. Today they were in the ground and I dedicate this to them. I am happy that I could contribute in all three departments. Tried to keep pace with the youngsters. My job was to help the team get to a good score. I am happy to bowl wherever I could. If not for my scrapy over in the last match we would have won 3-0 but credit goes to Zimbabwe for running us this close.

It's the third biggest win for Sri Lanka in terms of balls remaining in T20 cricket and they've absoluted mauled Zimbabwe here at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo tonight. It's been a really entertaining series but Zimbabwe have been disappointing tonight and have surrendered far too quickly without any resistance.

Sri Lanka needed just 83 runs to win and the game was always going to be on borrowed time. Pathum Nissanka and Kusal Mendis made full use of the opportunity and got themselves in. They took their time early on and then began playing their shots. Nissanka remained unbeaten till the end as he scored 39, whlle de Silva gave him company at the other end. Kusal Mendis was the only batter to be dismissed but he contributed with a brisk 33 and got himself into some much needed form before the Afghanistan series.

There wasn't much to write home about regarding Zimbabwe's effort with the ball or in the field. They missed quite a few run out chances and it summed up how their day has been tonight. The fast bowlers didn't bowl with their usual zeal and conceeded far too many runs early on. Sean Williams was the only bowler who picked up a wicket and he dismissed Kusal Mendis with a superb delivery to give Zimbabwe a consolation prize.

10.5 Sikandar Raza to Pathum Nissanka, SIX! Sri Lanka finishes it off in style. Wins by 9 wickets and takes the series 2-1. On a fuller-length around the middle stump, Nissanka holds his shape and swings through the line, comfortably clears the long on fence.
