Chamari Athapathuthu [captain, SL-W]: We played positive cricket in both games. Feeling proud as a captain, the youngsters have led the game and have done well so far. We are ready for anything. If we want to bat first, we will be scoring 250+ runs. Batting down orders - as I not in good form and hopefully I regain it before the last game. As a senior player, I need to lead from the front. I have played for 15 years and haven't bowled much. Keept on the stumps, that has been my mantra

Nilakshi de Silva [Player of the Match, SL-W]: She has known the crowd over here for a long time and thanks them. We had a plan to back ourselves and play fearless cricket and do well.

Harmanpreet Kaur [India women captain]: Sri Lankan team batted well, they didn't give a lot of chances. And when they gave, we missed two chances. We were one bowler short, Kashvee wasn't in the game. We took it till the last over. Whatever the situation is, we need to keep fighting. The way Richa was batting, we thought we will go past 280 easily. After losing her, we were not able to execute. It was the turning point for us. They have been doing a great job. Today also, we bowled well in the first 10 overs, but we were were not able to get breakthroughs. We talk about it, we need to keep getting breakthroughs.

A fine chase from Sri Lanka. Twice in two games, they have stood up against the daunting total that has been posted against them, and now they will want to ensure they get another win over South Africa later this week to ensure they are able to book their spot in the finals.

Chasing 276, everyone in their batting lineup got starts and stitched partnerships. Hasini Perera and Vishmi Gunaratne put together 30 for the first wicket, with Harshitha Samarawickrama scoring a half-century. It seemed as if things were going downhill when a couple of tight overs were bowled in the middle, but Nilakshi de Silva played a fine knock that kept any worries away. An eighth-wicket partnership between Anushka Sanjeewani and Sugandika Kumari saw the hosts chase the total down successfully.

India were a bowler short as Kashvee Gautam walked off with an injury. Sneh Rana continued her impressive comeback, this time responding with a three wicket haul. Pratika Rawal, Arundhati Reddy and Shree Charani picked up a wicket each but that wasn't enough to contain the SL batters and build pressure on them. It was a good target, but India failed to make the most of it with the ball in hand and restrict SL to under the total set.
