It's a thumping win for the Players. Goolie's onslaught at the end not only helped the Players to add that extra 25-30 runs but it also broke the resolve of the batters as they produced an insipid show early on and never recovered from an early setback. Anderson Phillip set the tone with the double strike in his very first and things only got complicated for the Cavaliers once the innings progressed

They scored just a solitary boundary in the first five overs and runs didn't come at a rapid pace even after that. The introduction of spin at both ends made things bad to worse, and the Steelpan bowlers continued to stamp their authority to pin the Cavaliers' batters down. It was deemed as an exciting battle but turned out to be a one-sided tussle in the end
