0.6 Craig Overton to Grant Roelofsen, little bit of swing on offer for Overton. Fullish well wide outside off and the batter shoulders his arms.
0.5 Craig Overton to Grant Roelofsen, that was a back of a length delivery around the off-stump channel, Roelofsen misses out on the attempted tuck off his hips, Overton does well to get rid of the ball but by then the batter was back in the crease.
0.4 Craig Overton to Miles Hammond, that has been pushed off a length around off-stump towards the mid-off region and scampers through for a single.
0.3 Craig Overton to Miles Hammond, on a good-length around middle stump, Hammond makes a bit of room and defends that solidly.
0.2 Craig Overton to Miles Hammond, fractionally fuller around middle stump, a defensive push towards the short mid-off region.
0.1 Craig Overton to Miles Hammond, FOUR! That was on the pads from Overton and nicely tucked away off his hips towards the vacant fine leg region for a boundary.
As I sign off my commentator Pragadeesh says "I haven't seen anything like this. The Blast always delivers". Surely it does. We couldn't have asked for a better London derby. I hope you all enjoyed this fascinating run-fest and like always it was a pleasure bringing you the live updates from this Blast encounter. Till the next time, this is myself (Arya Sekhar Chakraborty) biding adieu also on behalf of my fellow commentator Pragadeesh. Goodnight! Cheers!
Middlesex won by 7 wickets (with 4 deliveries to spare)
Surrey 252/7 in 20 overs
Will Jacks 96(45) | Laurie Evans 85(37) Ryan Higgins 2/40(4) | Tom Helm 2/48(4)
Middlesex 254/3 in 19.2 overs
Stephen Eskinazi 73(39) | Max Holden 68*(35) Chris Jordan 2/41(4) | Sean Abbott 0/20(1)
Not many would have expected Middlesex to get anywhere close to the victory target at the halfway stage let alone chase this down with four deliveries to spare. It was an exhibition of strokeplay through the entirety of the game and at the end of it all, Middlesex made a great account of themselves and chased down the mammoth target of 253.
This is also the highest-ever run chase in the history of the T20 Blast and the 2nd highest in all T20s. The carnage began right from the very first over when Stephen Eskinazi smashed Sam Curran for four boundaries to get them off to a rollicking start. Sean Abbott was muscled for 20 in the very next over and they raced off to 50 inside the 3rd over.
Joe Cracknell also got going and it was difficult for the Surrey bowlers to stop them, especially in the powerplay. The opening partnership fetched 90 runs before a terrible mix-up cost Middlesex dearly. The wicket of Cracknell opened up the game for Surrey but Eskinazi continued the good work. Max Holden joined him in the middle and after playing out a few deliveries came into his own.
Eskinazi couldn’t quite continue the carnage and was dismissed for 73 which came in 39 deliveries. Out came Ryan Higgins with a positive frame of mind and suddenly turned the game around with a flurry of boundaries. Holden gave him ample support and the duo literally toyed with the Surrey bowlers.
The required rate kept going down drastically and some powerful hits from the two brought the equation down to 25 required off the last 3 overs. Sam Curran bowled a terrific 18th over which was doubled with another impressive penultimate over from Chris Jordan. He bagged the wicket of Ryan Higgins which meant Middlesex needed 9 off the final over.
Josh Davies scooped a low full toss for a maximum on the very first delivery of the final over to bury the game. A delectable cut followed as Middlesex won by 7 wickets in the final over. That was absolutely a breathtaking run chase from Middlesex as they notch up their first victory of the season.
19.2 Gus Atkinson to Jack Davies, FOUR! WHAT A WAY TO END THEIR 14-MATCH LOSING STREAK . It's a highest run-chase in the Blast history and second highest run chase in the T20 history. BREATHTAKING SCENES AT THE ICONIC OVAL. Everyone goes berserk at the Middlesex dugout. They pulled off an impossible in this mouth-watering London Derby. Atkinson gets it wrong again as it's a low full toss across off, Davies opens the blade to carve this in the huge vacant backward point region
19.1 Gus Atkinson to Jack Davies, SIX! WHAT A SHOT UNDER PRESSURE! Low full toss, Davies stays deep, moves across and scoops it gently. It travels over fine leg for a maximum
Gus Atkinson [3-0-42-0] will bowl the final over of the match.
What a cracking game of cricket this has been and we are all boiled down to the final over and Middlesex needs 9 to win. One hit should do it for Middlesex and a couple of wickets could turn the match in Surrey's favor. All to play for at the moment.

18.6 Chris Jordan to Jack Davies, goes full outside leg-stump, Davies heaves it down to wide long-on for a single
Jordan doesn't looks a pleased man as one fielder has to come inside the 30-yard circle as they have burnt the stipulated time for the 20 overs.
Jack Davies, LHB comes out to the crease.
Drama here and Chris Jordan seems to have got the wicket. The catch carried clearly and Higgins has to head back to the pavilion just a couple short of his half-century.
