Commentary
It was fun bringing you the live coverage of this ECS Tallinn T-10 league 2020 Match 6. With this, we are done with the league stage. Onto the knock-outs now! Till then, this is me, Shrey Gupta, along with my colleague, Nikhil Kulkarni, signing off! Do stay tuned to Sportkeeda as the first knock-out game will kick start at 3:00 pm IST!
Right! In the final match of the group stage, the Tallinn Stallions registers a comprehensive victory as they knocked the Eesti Tigers out of the game, and of the competition as well. They win this by 71 runs!
Chasing 146 in a T-10 game is not an easy task by any means! And for the Eesti Tigers, it was always going to be difficult with the bowling attack in front of them. However, they started well with a decent run-rate. But, with 146 to chase, you need power-hitting at your best! Just when their batsmen tried to shift gears, they crumbled and never recovered from there! Wickets kept on tumbling and they were out of the game in no time! In the end, the Stallions managed to defeat the Tigers by a hefty margin of 71 runs and with this, they are the table-toppers now!
9.6 Muhammad Rizwan to Juber Nevi, short of a length ball, cut away to point region. That's the end of the innings. Eesti Tigers have played very poor cricket today and they didn't look like chasing this one.
9.5 Muhammad Rizwan to Ashraful Shuvo, fuller length, worked away for a single.
9.4 Muhammad Rizwan to Juber Nevi, short of a length, cut away to the offside for a single.
9.3 Muhammad Rizwan to Ashraful Shuvo, full length ball on the offside, hits it high in the air to long off for a single.
9.2 Muhammad Rizwan to Ashraful Shuvo, full length ball, defended back to the bowler.
9.1 Muhammad Rizwan to Ashraful Shuvo, fuller length ball, swing and a miss.
Last over of the innings coming up!
8.6 Mohsin Naqvi to Ashraful Shuvo, flighted delivery, Ashraful just heaves it blindly, gets a top edge to the cover fielder who takes an easy catch. But it's off the free-hit. So no merry for Stallions!
8.6 Mohsin Naqvi to Ashraful Shuvo, another wide on the offside. But it's a front-foot no ball!
8.5 Mohsin Naqvi to Juber Nevi, fuller length again, cut away to point for a single.
8.4 Mohsin Naqvi to Juber Nevi, flighted delivery, driven to backward point for two runs.
8.4 Mohsin Naqvi to Juber Nevi, wide on the offside.
8.3 Mohsin Naqvi to Juber Nevi, FOUR! That is an absolute hell of a delivery! And Nevi sights this one and takes it with both hands! Full toss ball on the legside, Juber has dispatched it to the fine leg boundary. Poor bowling!.
8.2 Mohsin Naqvi to Juber Nevi, FOUR! Full length on the offside clubbed to the cover boundary. That is a good shot by the batsman. He waited for this one to come on his bat nicely and heaves it above the infield fielder!
8.1 Mohsin Naqvi to Ashraful Shuvo, short of a length, cut away to point.
The Tigers are mathematically out of the game now! They need another 90 runs in 12 balls!
7.6 Adel Sabir to Bejon Sarker, OUT! Another one bites the dust! Full length, loopy ball, and Bejon has holed it straight to the long-on fielder who completes a good running catch! Half the side back in the hut for Tigers now!
7.5 Adel Sabir to Juber Nevi, good length on middle and leg, works it to the offside and they scamper for a single.
