Ireland batters did find the odd boundaries but constant loss of wickets really hampered their innings. UAE would be pretty pleased with their performance today as they manage to come back strong after facing defeat against Ireland yesterday.

Gareth did try and stitch a partnership alongside George but he had a lapse in concentration and lost his wicket as well. Curtis came next found the boundaries, was looking good but was bowled batting on 22. After that, wickets just kept tumbling at regular intervals.

The onus was all upon Keven who was starting to find the boundaries. Unfortunately, he lost his wicket as well and Ireland plunged into deeper trouble by the end of the powerplay. It was up to the Irish middle order now to gets its side back into the run-chase.

Coming in to chase a challenging total of 164 runs, Ireland did not have the best of starts as they lost their explosive opener Paul quite early into the innings. Andy the Irish skipper was out in the middle but lost his wicket after finding a boundary.

A comfortable victory for UAE today. All the bowlers today performed collectively for them and did well put the Irish batters in trouble. It looked like the final Irish pair of Mark and Joshua would manage to bat through the 20 overs but it was not to be.
