Andy Balbirine, Ireland captain: We started really well but we gave away match from there on. May be it is rustiness. But we will have to bounce back tomorrow. It was a disappointing show. We did not bowl well. The intent was there but we did not bat well. We deserve to lose.

Monak Patel, USA captain: This is a good start. We have been on a good run. I am really proud of the performace. The batters kept the things simple. It was important that our main bowlers bowled against their main batters. We had planned how to use Ali Khan. The plan was simple to focus on our strengths. We believe that we can win the series. We are confident.

Gajananad Singh: At 16/4 I took the score out of my mind. I wanted to build a partnership. This win means a lot to me. I have a good support system from my wife and my daughter. We took our chances. If we continue to play like this then we have the chance to win the series tommorow.
