Well, that was a one-sided contest that saw RC Dresden beat USC Magdeburg comprehensively in all three departments. RC Dresde who won the toss and batted first, put up 101 runs in their innings and it was too much of an ask to start with as USC Magdeburg could not cope up with the ever-increasing rate once both their openers fell cheaply.
Mick Murray played his part with the bat but due to lack of support on the other end and wickets falling at regular intervals ensured they are way behind in the chase. Kapil Chandnani picked 3 wickets for RC Dresden and that was the nail in the coffin because the scoring rate was massively hampered due to a persistent line of attack from RC Dresden.
