Vienna Danube cross the line quite comfortably in the end as Mohammad Safi came in and smashed couple of sixes straightaway as 11 runs required while he walked in. Vienna Danube batsmen started off slowly inside the powerplay but they picked up in the 2nd half of the chase as the required rate looked to shoot up. Shaukat Saied's cameo of 18 runs from 10 balls was all it took to bring the required rate down. Khyber Malyar and Klair Kailash started well with the bat scoring 15 and 11 while they were in the middle and Zaid Miralikheil presence in the middle for his 17 ball 13 proved enough to take his team home with a 7 wicket victory. Though the stacked up dot ball, they got the boundaries at the right time that helped the scoring rate to keep pace with the required run rate.

Vienna CC bowlers just couldn't keep the opponent batsmen calm and lacked discipline. They gave away too many extras in the innings and that costed them the match to some extent. Daniel Eckstein was the only bowler who kept things tight while others gave away some easy runs. Simpson-Parker managed to pick an early wicket but that couldn't stop the opposition from scoring runs easily. Himanshu Jha and Abdullah Akbarjan picked a wicket each at the final stages of the innings but that wasn't enough for them.

In the end, Vienna Danube register the first win over their Vienna counterparts of the tournament and start things off in a beautiful fashion. It gives them the 2 points and go on top of the table with better net runrate.
8.2 Mark Simpson-Parker to Mohammad Safi, SIX MORE! This is scintillating stuff from Vienna Danube and Safi finishes things in style, courtesy some lusty blows from Saied and now Safi to take their team home with 10 balls to spare in the end. What a shot that from Safi. Another short delivery on the off-stump as he hangs back and SMOKES that one straight down the ground as the fielder from long-off runs across to hold on to it but sails over him in the end for a maximum!
8.1 Mark Simpson-Parker to Mohammad Safi, SIX! BANG! OUTTA HERE! That was short on the leg-stump line as Safi swivels and pulls that one away as he PUMMELS that one way over the fine-leg region for a maximum!
11 runs needed from 12 balls and anything can happen here!
That looked like a game changing over for Danube as Shaukat Saied scored two sixes and a four from that over but Akbarjan comes back by picking his wicket. This game is not over until the final ball is bowled as the momentum keeps swinging to and fro.
Over: 8 | Summary: 0 4 6 6 0 4W Bowler: Abdullah Akbarjan Score: 74/3
7.6 Abdullah Akbarjan to Shaukat Saied, OUT! CAUGHT AND BOWLED! Touch short on the off-stump as Saied makes room and looks to send that one over the long-on region but instead skies it as the bowler himself runs back to hold on to a blinder in the end!
7.5 Abdullah Akbarjan to Shaukat Saied, OH! Full delivery on the outside off as Saied has another wild swing at that one and misses, through to the keeper
7.4 Abdullah Akbarjan to Shaukat Saied, SIX! AND ANOTHER! Saied is on fire here. That was another full delivery on the leg-stump line as he skips down the track and SMOKES that one way over the deep square leg region for another maximum!
7.3 Abdullah Akbarjan to Shaukat Saied, SIX! BOOM! Full delivery and in the slot for Saied as he dances down the track and CLUBS that one over the cow corner boundary for a maximum!
7.2 Abdullah Akbarjan to Shaukat Saied, FOUR! Short delivery on the middle and leg as Saied swings hard and gets over the backward square leg region for a boundary
7.1 Abdullah Akbarjan to Shaukat Saied, full delivery on the outside off as Saied has a big heave at that one and misses, through to the keeper
Akbarjan to bowl the 8th over.

That's a poor over from Himanshu. He just didn't have control over the ball as he sprayed it all over. Too many extras from it and Vienna Danube need 27 runs from 3 overs.
Over: 7 | Summary: 1w W 0 1nb 1 0 1nb 2w 1 2 Bowler: Himanshu Jha Score: 54/2

6.5 Himanshu Jha to Shaukat Saied, change of pace, touch short on the outside off as Saied looks to heave that one away but misses, through to the keeper as they pick up a bye
6.5 Himanshu Jha to Zaid Miralikheil, WIDE! This time same delivery and pitched on the strip but way outside the off-stump as they run a bye as well
6.5 Himanshu Jha to Zaid Miralikheil, NO-BALL! Another no-ball as Jha fails to land that one on the strip and that went outside the pitch
6.4 Himanshu Jha to Zaid Miralikheil, short delivery on the outside off as Zaid hangs back to hoick that one away on the off-side but misses, through to the keeper
