The St. Lucia T10 Blast has been off to a flier and the party continues here in the Caribbean. VFNR and LBR playing each other for the first time in the tournament and looking to win. An exciting array of talent will be at display. It should be a gritty contest.
VFNR would be relieved after this win. They lost 4 wickets in the early part of the innings, Courtesy Theordore who bowled very high class lethal fast bowling spell. Junior Peter came in and started hammering all over the park, He scored 45 off 24 balls. He was well supported by Travis Gifford who scored 28 off 14 balls. This is the first win for VFNR  in this tournament.

LBR started off well and had the match in control for the most part of it. They will be disappointed with their batting and fielding effort. This is the first game for them and they need to quickly bounce back.

We enjoyed bringing this coverage to you. This is Nikhil Kulkarni and Shashwat Kumar signing off. Take Care and Stay Safe.
9.2 Michael Francois to Travis Gifford, SIX! What a way to finish things off! In the slot and Gifford whacks it over long on. The fielder does well to jump and throw the ball back in play but the fielder at long off signals that he was in contact with the ropes while attempting to do so.
9.1 Michael Francois to Travis Gifford, back of a length outside off and punched into the cover region. Should only be a single there but an errant throw allows an extra run.
VFNR: 77/4 after 9th Over. VFNR need 6 runs from the last over.
Who will bowl the last over?. Both the batsmen are looking dangerous, you need someone who can hold the nerve and defend the remaining runs.
8.6 Murlan Sammy to Junior Peter, length delivery outside off and glided past point for a brace. The fielder at third man did well to get his boot down and stop the boundary.
8.5 Murlan Sammy to Travis Gifford, back of a length outside off and edged down to third man for a single.
8.4 Murlan Sammy to Travis Gifford, back of a length outside off and Gifford gives it an almighty hoick, that only helps him clear the air around him.
8.3 Murlan Sammy to Junior Peter, length delivery and Peter inside edges it onto his pads before it deflects into the off side. The batsmen scamper through for a sharp single.
8.2 Murlan Sammy to Junior Peter, back of a length delivery and worked into the leg side. The batsmen are aware of the possibility of a second and make it comfortably in the end.
8.1 Murlan Sammy to Junior Peter, SIX! Right in the slot and Peter marches down the track before thumping it over long off for a majestic maximum. That has brought the equation down to 12 runs off 11 balls.
VFNR: 65/4 after 8th Over. VFNR need 18 from 12 balls.
Another good over for VFNR. Important over coming up, this could decide the match.
7.6 Shervin George to Travis Gifford, back of a length delivery outside off and Gifford pulls it in front of square for a brace.
7.5 Shervin George to Junior Peter, length outside off and Peter slices it to short third man for one.
7.4 Shervin George to Travis Gifford, poor delivery outside leg stump but Gifford can only help it straight to the fielder on the square leg fence.
7.3 Shervin George to Travis Gifford, back of a length and driven back to the bowler.
7.2 Shervin George to Travis Gifford, SIX! On a length outside off and that accords Gifford the width to free his arms. He gets down on one knee and mousses it over mid-wicket for six.
7.1 Shervin George to Junior Peter, back of a length delivery and punched into the off side for a single.
VFNR: 54/4 after 7th Over. VFNR need 29 from 18 balls.
This is heading to a tight finish.11 runs from the last over. This can be anybody's game now.
6.6 Tracy Peter to Travis Gifford, slower full delivery outside off and Gifford is completely deceived. A huge swing and a miss.
6.5 Tracy Peter to Travis Gifford, back of a length outside off and another Raiders batsman misses a cut shot. I have honestly lost count of that now.
