That will be it from our side. The rain-marred game brought a sense of exuberance for the little time that it played out and we hope that the coverage was enjoyed by you as much as we did bringing it to you. So until next time, this is me Anavit Naik alongside Abhinav Singh signing off! Take care!
This game deserved such a finish especially after rain spoilt the drama for so long which left us pessimistic about the chances of the game getting underway. Prague Barbarians who lost the toss and put up 24 runs in their 3 overs for the loss of two wickets just had enough in the tank to defend the score. It all started with an excellent over by Piyush Kumar who conceded only two runs that set the momentum for the team and the other bowlers could cover up excellently. Captain Harsha Chaganty did well to hold his nerve up until the last ball when a six was required for the opposition to win.
It has gone down to the wire! The catch has been taken and its all over for the Vinorhady CC
2.6 Harsha Chaganty to Vojta Hasa, OH, ARE VINOHRADY OVER THE LINE??? No, they are not! What an excellent climax! Overpitched ball on the pads. Hasa makes some room for himself and blasts the ball powerfully up in the air. However, the ball doesn't have the legs to go the distance as Piyush Kumar at deep midwicket settles under it -- keeps his cool and takes a good, smart catch to guide his team to victory shores! Vinohrady's search for the first point prolongs!
6 needed of 1 ball!
2.5 Harsha Chaganty to Vojta Hasa, FOUR! POOR FIELDING! Good length ball bowled in the slot on offstump. Hasa backs away from the stumps and thumps the ball straight to long-off where the fielder is caught in no man's land and allows the ball to go past him and over the ropes
2.5 Harsha Chaganty to Vojta Hasa, fuller length ball sliding past the tramlines. WIDE called by the umpire
2.4 Harsha Chaganty to Vojta Hasa, short in length on middlestump. Hasa on the backfoot pulls the ball down to deep midwicket for a couple to keep the contest alive, albeit mathematically
2.3 Harsha Chaganty to Venkatesh Marghashayam, OH MY! Slow, good length ball on fourth stump line, Venkatesh walks across his stumps and attempts to go behind the keeper. However, he gets pinned on the side of the thigh before haring across for a single
Venkatesh Margasahayem, RHB walks out to the middle at no.4
2.2 Harsha Chaganty to Arshad Hayat, RUNOUT! Back of length delivery dug into the track wide outside off. Hayat on the backfoot miscues the pull straight up in the air but the deep long leg fielder is late as he fails to take the catch. However, he fires in the throw to the keeper who flicks the bails off and runs the dangerman Hayat out
Arshad Hayat runout (Jahanur Hoque / Vishal Manay) 3(3b)
2.1 Harsha Chaganty to Arshad Hayat, fuller length ball bowled in the slot outside off. Arshad walks across the stumps and slogs the ball straight to deep midwicket for a couple
Harsha Chaganty, right-arm off break comes into the attack

1.6 Robin Thakral to Arshad Hayat, good length ball on stumps. Hayat covers the line and taps the ball back to the bowler before setting up for a single.
Arshad Hayat, RHB walks out to bat in the middle at no.3
Ohh no! That was the last thing they wanted
1.5 Robin Thakral to Siddarth Goud, RUNOUT! Fuller length ball bowled on legstump. Goud on the backfoot flicks the ball off the boot to deep long leg for a single. He attempts to steal an extra run at the last moment. In the end, he is just short of the crease as the third umpire communicates the decision
1.4 Robin Thakral to Siddarth Goud, great delivery! Good length ball dug into the track on middlestump. Goud is taken aback by the length as the ball whizzes past his helmet
