That brings an end to our coverage of this exciting ECS contest. Stay tuned to Sportskeeda for live commentaries as well as the latest news. This is me, Avik Bose and my colleague, Lavil Saldanha, signing off.
Electing to BAT first, PRB got off to a solid start. Openers Sazib and skipper Gangappa looked solid in the middle and acquired 39 runs from the first 4 overs. But as the partnership started looking a bit dangerous, Sazid got castled and had to go back after a brilliant knock of 21 off 16 balls. Pokhriyal accompanied the skipper in the middle but both found it difficult to get going. Pokhriyal got dismissed for 21 off 16 balls, while skipper Gangappa was shown the door after a weary knock of 25 from 25 balls. From the bowling department, Chaudhary and Arshad took 1 scalp each, while skipper Goud produced an exceptional spell of 2 overs taking 1 wicket and conceding just 9 runs. PRB finished their innings with a maximum, reaching 92/3 from their 10 overs.
Chasing a tricky target of 93, VCC looked settled in their approach. They managed 23 runs from their first 3 powerplay overs losing 1 wicket and at the halfway stage they were 38/2 with both the openers back in the hut. But Ritik Tomar and Heydenrych took charge from then on and took the bowlers apart. Heydenrych hit 3 consecutive sixes to put away with any pressure that was mounting and kept the scorers busy. Heydenrych top-scored with 35 off 17 balls taking no prisoners and Ritik Tomar remained unbeaten along with contributing 25 off 19 balls. Opener Pearce also provided a useful contribution of 19 from 11 balls right at the start of the chase. From the bowling department, Bhatnagar and Farhad struck a blow each, while others were unable to put any dent in the chase.
With 4 runs needed off the last over, Ritik Tomar hit a SIX to take his team home with 5 balls to spare.

VCC thus win comprehensively by 8 wickets and record their 3rd victory of the tournament.
