The target of 46 was never going to pose any challenge to the batters of Istanbul KSK and they ended up winning by 10 wickets in the 7th over as the opening duo of Ismet Turkmen and Hesh Moghaddam batted sensibly and ensured that their side won convincingly with 21 deliveries to spare. Istanbul didn't go with their regular opening duo and instead sent the two out in the middle to get a hit out in the middle.

They took their time initially and never really looked to blast their way and reach the target. It was all about finding the games and nudging it around for singles besides finding the occasional boundaries. Turkmen was the aggressor among the two, eventually remaining unbeaten on 28 off 18 deliveries. Hesh Moghaddam didn't get going but with the target being well below par, it didn't matter much.

It was he who struck the winning runs with a flat batted pull to make it 3 out of 3 for Istanbul. Meanwhile, Pleven lost their 12th straight game and they would be dejected as nothing went their way this season. The bowlers did well up front but with the score they were defending, it was always going to be a tall order.
