Player of the match: Yasir Ali
That's all from here, and with that another exciting day at the ECS Barcelona concludes. Do join us tomorrow for an action packed day with 5 more matches scheduled. For now it's Ankit and Bala calling it a night.
With this win Catalunya Tigers go on top of their groups table with a game in hand, a position they will be happy about, because next time they will be playing against much better teams, and will be hoping to win those games as well. Nothing but positive things for them to take home from this match, but what they shouldn't take is overconfidence with them. They have outdone a weak team, but the Tigers are not unbeatable and they know that. Although with this one sided display they will back themselves to go through to the finals.
XI Stars face another defeat and a hope for victory looks bleak with the remaining games to go as well. But they've come in for the first time in this tournament, are under armed and surely they will give it their best and come back stronger. They need to re analyse their strategy and come back with a positive intent to enjoy the game as much as they can in the remaining games and even play a role of the party pooper if needed.
Well then, the game has panned out in the way we all had expected. The Tigers winning the toss, opting to bat, batting the opponents out of this game and then following it with a good piece of bowling. It's like Deja Vu, because the same thing happened when these two met for the first time. The heroics have been repeated today, and all credits to the Tigers for putting up a dominant display of cricket, ticking all departments against a side that is playing this tournament for the first time, and haven't yet found the right combination of players to pull out a win.
Big MAK comes in to bowl the final over of the match and of the day, and picks the last wicket of the innings on the final ball of the day. That's a wrap from this game, and Catalunya Tigers beat XI Stars by a huge margin of 124 runs.

Muhammad Armghar Khan, into the attack.
Sarwar gives himself an over, just to have a go, but ends up giving 10 runs in it with Ali Ahmed getting a couple of boundaries in that over. A short cameo at the end it looks like.

Sorry for the suspense folks, but Razaqat Ali does pick up a fifer, the first of this tournament and Stars are just a wicket away from being all out. Will keep you informed about what happens.
