CAR won by 9 wickets
Player of the match: Rory McCann

Carlton beats Zafer by 9 wickets with 44 balls to spare!

Carlton walked into this game as the clear favourites and made sure they maintained their unbeaten status with a thumping performance. The damage was already done in the first innings with Arun Pillai picking three wickets as Zafer were bowled out for just 22. After that it was just a mere formality as Carlton tried out a new opening pair. While Murray Whitaker held one end up with a boundary to his name, Umaid Mohammed wasn't able to stay till the end courtesy of a brilliant delivery from Abhishek. But that wasn't all as captain Mecit Zargar also did well in this two overs to earn the respect of the Scottish batters. But in the end, Carlton were too powerful for Zafer, who still have a long way to go to reach the lofty standards set by the Scottish. This win has essentially sealed the top-spot for Carlton, who will now look forward to the playoffs. That's it from this game though. It has been a fairly one-sided game filled with some decent bowling performances. There's more to come from the Cartama Oval today with Prague CC Kings taking on Brescia in about an hour's time. Until then, this is Dwijesh signing off. Good Bye and Take Care!

An eventful over from Abhishek, who bowls a beauty to get rid of Umaid Mohammed. But with those bonus runs in the backend of that over, Carlton are on the verge of an easy win here
