Liverpool will have to do without Darwin Nunez against Manchester United next week, and will hope that Bobby Firmino can return to full fitness. Salah was unusually quiet tonight and will need to make amends against the Red Devils. Liverpool already face an uphill task this season, and Jurgen Klopp has some thinking to do at the moment.
That brings us to the end of tonight's Premier League coverage. Until next time, this is Aditya Hosangadi, your commentator for the evening, wishing you a good night!
Crystal Palace played their hearts out tonight and deserved their much-vaunted point. Wilfried Zaha might not have been at his best tonight, but he did take his chance well to upset the Kop.
It's all square at Anfield as Liverpool drop points yet again in the Premier League. They are now four points off the place in the title race, and we have a few worrying signs emerging from Jurgen Klopp's camp.
Darwin Nunez had a nightmare Anfield debut tonight - his brainfade may well have cost his side victory. Luis Diaz spared his side a fair few blushes with a spectacular goal, but his stunning moment of magic remains the only silver lining on an increasingly dark cloud.
FULL TIME: Liverpool 1-1 Crystal Palace
Ah, that's unforunate. Final minute of the game, and we have a stoppage for an intruder. Back underway with what could be the final passage of play.
90+4' Palace win a corner! Are we in for some late drama?
A very stop-start passage of play, and this doesn't suit Liverpool. Palace are taking the sting out of this match.
90+3' Yellow Card for Fabio Carvalho, for a mistimed tackle on Olise.
90+1' Yellow Card for Vicente Guaita, for wasting time.
Five minutes of stoppage-time.
90' Fabio Carvalho!! Trent Alexander-Arnold whips in a decent free-kick, and Fabinho heads it across. Carvalho attempts an impressive volley, and it wasn't too far away.
88' Yellow Card for Odsonne Edouard, for a very random waste of time on Liverpool's free-kick.
88' Crystal Palace make their final change, with Michael Olise replacing Jeffrey Schlupp.
87' Salah, that was close! Diaz and Henderson take their turns on the ball in the final third, before Tsimikas takes a shot. The block falls to Salah, who whips his effort towards the top corner. Inches wide!
84' Liverpool are sustaining their dominance brilliantly, and Palace aren't able to make the most of their counters. A tense finish in store tonight with all three results possible.
79' Crystal Palace make a triple change: Eberechi Eze, Tyrick Mitchell, and Cheick Doucoure replaced by Luka Milivojevic, Will Hughes, and Chris Richards.
79' A Liverpool change, Fabio Carvalho on for the impressive Harvey Elliott.
78' Oh Zaha, that should've been the game! Nine times out of ten, he would've buried that. Edouard with the cross, nobody picks up Zaha at the far post, but he hits the woodwork with the goal at his mercy.
Liverpool risking it all here, getting forward every chance they can. They aren't going to settle for a draw.
75' Brilliant tackle from Mitchell! Salah storms his way to the byline, but Mitchell steps in with a crucial challenge.
71' Trent scuffs his lines! Nice little flick from Salah and TAA is through on goal, he tries to put his foot through it and gets it all wrong.
68' Yellow Card for Joel Ward. Takes one for the team, does the defender. Liverpool break Palace's spell of possession with a pass to Diaz, and Ward fells the goalscorer to stop the counter.
65' Diaz's goal has kept Anfield buzzing with excitement, and there's a spring in the hosts' steps. They're keeping the ball comfortably with ten men, and they smell blood.
63' Palace make a change as well, with Odsonne Edouard replacing Jordan Ayew.
62' Liverpool make a double substitution, with Nat Phillips and Andrew Robertson off for Kostas Tsimikas and Joe Gomez
Outstanding stuff from the winger, Messi-esque! As good a goal as you'll ever see. Luis Diaz cuts in from the right, jumps past several Crystal Palace challenges, and curls in an absolute pearler from the edge of the box! Exactly what his team needed! Goal of the week, in my opinion.
61' LUIS DIAZ WITH A STUNNER! Liverpool are level, 1-1!
Stupid from Nunez. Lost his rag. Shoved by Andersen and reacts by putting his head into the defender's face. You can't do that.
Disaster for Liverpool as they striker has been sent off. Clear provocation from Andersen as he pushed Nunez, but the latter responded with an ugly headbutt. Not sure what he was thinking, he'd never get away with it. Liverpool switch to a 4-3-2, and their lives have just become much harder now..
57' Darwin Nunez has been sent off! Straight red card for the Uruguayan!
57' Liverpool are patient with their build-up and Salah's cross is slightly wayward. Luis Diaz attempts a spectacular overhead kick, but it's way off target.
53' Phillips with a close call. Put under pressure by Zaha, and just about gets it away. Palace push ahead with Ayew, but the move breaks down.
49' Another squandered chance! Salah threads a beautiful pass to Nunez, but Ward gets in the way. The Kop screams out for a handball, but referee isn't interested.
47' A scrappy start to the second half. Liverpool still dominating possession, but they're yet to find a rhythm.
And we're underway! Liverpool kick things off, attacking from left to right.
We're back at Anfield for the second half. Liverpool are staring in the face of another poor result - can they bounce back?
Despite their dominance, Liverpool have a massive amount of work to do tonight. They've been impressive with their build-up but are lacking a final pass. The best chances have fallen to Darwin Nunez, and the Uruguayan is yet to make his mark. Liverpool need to wear their shooting boots tonight. We'll be back in a few minutes with the second half.
An action-packed half of Premier League football comes to an end, and Crystal Palace have managed to surprise everyone. They're 1-0 up against Liverpool at Anfield, and they have a mountain to climb to keep it that way.
Patrick Vieira will be thrilled with his team's efforts so far. They've been resilient, and they've barely put a foot wrong. They've had only two concrete chances so far, and Wilfried Zaha has crucially managed to take one of them.
HALF-TIME: Liverpool 0-1 Crystal Palace
45+4' Nunez hits the woodwork! Beautiful lobbed pass by Elliott, but Nunez's effort bounces off the post. Salah and Van Dijk try to follow up, only to be undone by the half-time whistle.
45+3' Liverpool are visibly desperate for an equaliser before half-time. TAA nearly creates it, and threads a brilliant past on the right. Salah is inches away from bringing it under control, but a last-ditch attempt from Guehi concedes a corner.
Three minutes added to the first half..
42' Elliott with a sharp header! Salah picks him out with a good cross, and the midfielder takes a sharp shot. Corner for Liverpool, and Palace repel their attempts.
41' A good pass by Doucoure, and a brilliantly timed run by Zaha. Takes a heavy touch, however, and that allows Allison to intervene. The resulting corner is comfortably cleared by Liverpool.
40' Yellow card for Luis Diaz. Jordan Ayew knicks the ball off his counterpart, and Diaz pulls him to the ground to stop the counter.
37' Ambitious attempt from Doucoure. The Eagles find Zaha on another counter, the forward waits for his teammates this time and finds Doucoure, but the latter skies his attempt.
36' Liverpool look to draw level immediately, and Alexander-Arnold has two shots blocked from either foot. THe hosts have the ball back, and they're squeezing Palace into a corner.
Crystal Palace have scored from their first shot on target. Exactly what they needed at this point in the game, and Wilfried Zaha has stepped up.
VAR is having a look, but that should be onside. And it stands! Brilliant pass to scythe through the Liverpool defence, and Zaha outpaces everybody to beat Alisson. Picture perfect counter from Crystal Palace, and Liverpool find themselves behind at Anfield!
32' GOOOAAAL WILFRIED ZAHA! Against the run of play, Crystal Palace are 1-0 up at Anfield!
30' Sheer brilliance from Alexander-Arnold! Great turn and an even better lob that finds Salah's head with stunning accuracy, but the winger doesn't get enough power on his header. Simple save for Guaita.
28' Palace clear their lines again, and Zaha gives chase. Phillips gets there first, but puts the ball out of play. Crystal Palace make something of their possession in the final third, forcing Alisson into an awkward clearance before giving the ball away again.
27' Fancy footwork from Nunez, and he draws a foul from Jeffrey Schlupp. Liverpool are winning all the second balls at the moment.
25' Salah is causing problems for Crystal Palace at the moment. Retrieves the ball himself after a blocked cross and fires another cross to Milner, but the Englishman isn't able to find a teammate with his header.
24' Van Dijk has a pop! Never troubling Vicente Guaita, that attempt, but it does give him something to think about.
23' Salah!! Wrong side of the post this time for the prolific Egyptian. TAA pings in another low cross, and Salah opts to take a shot with his first touch. Plenty of power, but couldn't squeeze it into the near post. Liverpool are getting closer!
21' Liverpool move the ball around well in Crystal Palace's box, and the ball nearly falls for Luis Diaz. Palace manage to clear their lines.
19' Eze finds himself through on goal, but Alisson makes the save. A delayed flag after the fact, the Palace man was visibly offside.
Brief penalty shouts there from Liverpool, for a purported handball, but the referee isn't interested.
17' Another chance for Liverpool! A great run for Robertson to latch on to another long ball, and he does well to pop the ball over to Luis Diaz. He gets his shot away, but it deflects into Guaita's hands.
14' Another easy catch for Vicente Guaita. Nat Phillips attempts the long ball this time, but it's too far ahead of Nunez.
12' Palace look to counter through Wilfried Zaha, but Van Dijk is all over him in a flash. This is going to be a difficult night for the former United man.
Liverpool are unsurprisingly dominant with 72% of the possession. They've created a few concrete chances as well, but things will remain jittery till they score their first goal.
Not an easy chance for Nunez, first-time volleys never are. He was unmarked, however, and will be disappointed that he didn't hit the target there.
9' Oh, that'll go down as a miss from Darwin Nunez! TAA and Salah link up to set up Harvey Elliott, who sends half the Palace defence to the ground with his run. His blocked shot falls to Alexander-Arnold, who finds Nunez with a cross, but the big man doesn't get his volley on target.
7' Tyrick Mitchell does well! TAA punts another ball up to Salah, who brings it under his control. Mitchell gets tight on his man, and manages to knick the ball off his feet. Liverpool have the ball back, but Palace will need more of that from their five-man defence.
6' Liverpool attack again with TAA releasing Salah down the right. The Reds talisman cuts it back to Harvey Elliott, but his shot is blocked by the Palace defence.
5' Salah with another cross this time, but it's much more comfortable for Guaita. Darwin Nunez is an excellent target man to have, and Liverpool's intentions are fairly obvious at the moment.
4' We're back underway! Guaita has a strapping on, and he's thankfully all right to continue.
Guaita seems to have injured himself there, we have a brief stoppage as he receives medical attention.
1' Milner! Liverpool's first chance of the game, and it comes within a minute after kick-off. TAA with an inviting cross, and Darwin Nunez makes a nuisance of himself. Guaita punches it straight to Milner, but the veteran skies his volley. Impressive start for the hosts.
KICK-OFF! Crystal Palace get things underway, attacking from left to right.
Right, so we're under five minutes away from kick-off. The players are on the field, and Anfield is at its raucous best.
We have less than an hour to kick-off, and both teams need a win at the moment. Can Liverpool keep pace with their title rivals, or are we in for a massive upset tonight? Stay tuned!
Crystal Palace have gone in with a three-man defence, and will rely heavily on the likes of Wilfried Zaha and Jordan Ayew to damage the hosts on the counter. The tactic worked to a certain degree against Arsenal last week, but the Eagles will need to make their chances at Anfield.
As expected, Darwin Nunez starts ahead of Roberto Firmino, who is reportedly recovering from a niggle. Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah complete a potentially lethal Liverpool front three.
With both Matip and Konate injured, Nat Phillips gets his chance alongside Virgil van Dijk. Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andrew Robertson unsurprisingly keep their places in the side and will need to be at their creative best tonight.
Crystal Palace XI (5-4-1): Vicente Guaita; Tyrick Mitchell, Marc Guehi, Joachim Andersen, Joel Ward, Nathaniel Clyne; Cheick Doucoure, Jeffrey Schlupp, Eberechi Eze, Wilfried Zaha; Jordan Ayew
Substitutes: Luka Milivojevic, Michael Olise, Jean-Philippe Mateta, Will Hughes, Sam Johnstone, Malcolm Ebiowei, Odsonne Edouard, Chris Richards, Luka Plange

The line-ups are here!
30 - Liverpool against Crystal Palace this evening marks exactly 30 years to the day since the first ever Premier League matches took place (15/08/1992). The Reds didn’t play on that day, but the Eagles drew 3-3 with Blackburn at Selhurst Park. Anniversary. #PL30pic.twitter.com/LPeyDnGx9K
Darwin Nunez made a massive impact as a substitute last week and will likely get to make his full Premier League debut tonight. Crystal Palace are unlikely to make drastic changes to their setup and will set up on the counter against one of the competition's best.
We're less than an hour away from the official lineups. Until then, here's our take on tonight's game:
Crystal Palace, to their credit, gave a good account of themselves against Arsenal but were largely outclassed by the better team. Liverpool are much stronger on paper as well, but funny things do happen far too regularly in the Premier League. Palace have the personnel to take something away from this match, and they will back themselves.
Liverpool have made a poor start to their Premier League campaign - they really should've secured their first victory of the season against Fulham? Aleksandar Mitrovic's goalscoring knack has already cost them two points this season, and the men from Merseyside cannot afford to take Patrick Vieira's Crystal Palace lightly.
Jurgen Klopp's charges did show us why they're one of the most feared teams in the Premier League last week, but they'll need to be wary of Crystal Palace's searing counters.
