A clinical performance from the Selecaos as they hit back at their critics with a dominant 4-1 win over Paraguay. Brazil were the better team on the night in all aspects. Paraguay did threaten them in certain areas and also pulled a goal back but they simply lacked quality against a star-studded Brazilian outfit. The Brazilian forwards were exceptional throughout the game with their direct approach. Overall a morale-boosting win for the Selecaos.
A brilliant delivery from midfield finds Bareiro in the penalty area, who heads the ball beyond Alisson to every Paraguayan's delight but the goal was chalked off due to offside.
Gabriel comes on for Militao, who had a busy night.
Cubas gets into a tussle with Douglas Luiz and the midfielder throws a kick at his Brazilian counterpart. His malicious attempt was seen by the referee and he rightfully handed him a red card. He also brandishes a yellow card to Vinicius for dissent.
Endrick and Andreas Pereira are on for Rodrygo and Paqueta.
Gimenez, Bareiro and Romero come on for Enciso, Arce and Espinoza.
Raphinha and Douglas Luiz replace Bruno Guimaraes and Savio.
Paqueta sends Morinigo the wrong way and calmly slots it home. A brilliant penalty from the midfielder, who missed the last one. Brazil restored their three-goal lead in the match. Paraguay 1-4 Brazil.
Brazil get another spot-kick as there's another handball from a Paraguayan defender inside the penalty area. Very poor from the Paraguay defenders on the night. On the other hand, a big chance for Paqueta to redeem himself.
A couple of rash tackles mean that Brazil get a free-kick in a dangerous area as Rodrygo's powerful effort was expertly kept out by Morinigo.
Paraguay have stepped up in the second half as Almiron took on Danil and cut in on his right. His subsequent effort forced Alisson to make a sensational save. That was another great opportunity for the Paraguayans.
Paraguay pull one back and we are off to a sensational start in Las Vegas. A good cross from the right is blocked by Marquinho and the rebound fell nicely for Alderete and his attempt from long range arrowed into the back of the net. Paraguay 1-3 Brazil
It was all Brazil in the first half even after Paqueta missed the spot-kick. Paraguay haven't managed to deal with the intensity of the Brazilian forwards. The likes of Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo and Savio have been too much for the Paraguayan defence to deal with. They have looked decent in attack with Enciso, Almiron and Bobadilla getting into good positions. But three back-to-back goals from the Selecaos have most likely put this game to bed. They have looked extremely sharp, unlike their opening game where they seemed very unimaginative and bland in attack. This can turn out to be a long night for Paraguay.
A long ball from midfield catches the Paraguay defence off guard as Rodrygo runs in behind. He was in a tussle with Balbuena and the defender's clearance fell kindly into Vinicius' path, who slammed it home. The Selecaos are tearing apart the Paraguayan backline. Paraguay 0-3 Brazil.

Another beautiful move from the Selecaos ended with Rodrygo taking a shot which was saved by Morinigo but the Paraguayan defenders did not deal with the loose ball and Savio found himself in space and slotted it home with ease to bring up his first international goal for Brazil. Paraguay 0-2 Brazil
A brilliant buildup from Vinicius, who dances past the left flank with a couple of flashy skills moves. He cuts in and plays a one-two with Rodrygo and then calmly slots it past Morinigo to break the deadlock. Paraguay 0-1 Brazil.
A slow patient buildup from Paraguay ends in Bobadilla finding a pocket of space as his effort on target forces Allison to come up with a massive save. Brazil midfielders weren't anywhere near Bobadilla near the edge of the penalty area.
