Tomorrow will be a new day and a new opportunity to stake their claims in the on-going 2021 ISSF World Cup in Osijek, Croatia. The post-day review will be up on our website in a couple of minutes. Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar bows out at the 6th place! The chance to win a second consecutive World Cup medal couldn't be grabbed. Nevertheless, a thundering round of applause of his efforts! The lad has shown promise. He will the one to watch in Tokyo and beyond!

It's sweltering out there in the Pampas shooting range in Osijek, Croatia. Temperature is only expected to soar up when the elimination kicks in!

It's the end of the Prone round! Aishwary maintains his 5th spot. However, the difference seems to be a matter of concern. It should be noted that he broke into the final of 10m Air Rifle. Will that boost his morale in the Standing round? Only time will tell!

After 1st 5 shots in Prone (20 shots overall), Aishwary drops to 5th place. He needs to finish this round on a high to be assured of a podium finish as the eliminations will begin in the next round (Standing).

The Kneeling round has ended! In the 15-shot kneeling round, Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar scored 152.3 and only three shooters have done better than him. The next round is the Prone round where shooters lay down on the ground and aim at the target placed 50 meter away!

After the first 10 tens, Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar is at the 5th rank. He has scored 101.1 till now!

The confirmation has just came in! Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar secures the 7th spot in the qualifications. With 1176 points and 61x, he made the cut! Sanjeev Rajput won't feature in the final as he languishes at the 17th spot. The Final for this event - Rifle 3 Positions Men will begin at 10PM IST.

Both the qualifications relays have ended. Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar is the only Indian to be placed in the Top-8. He sits on the 8th place with 1176 points. He is tied with three other shooters who have equivalent scores. Now the only differentiator will be the number of inner 10's (x).

Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar amasses 1176 - 61x in his qualification round. It might just be enough to sneak him though to the Final of Rifle 3P Men event!

Veteran and current World Rank 6th - Sanjeev Rajput shot in the Relay 1 of the Rifle 3 Positions Men qualification. He managed a decent score of 1173 - 58x. The subdivisions in the order of Kneeling, Prone and Standing positions are 391, 395 and 387 respectively.

At the moment Relay 2 of 50m Rifle 3 Positions Men is unfolding in the shooting range PAMPAS of Osijek, Croatia. Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar has risen to second position and seems to have put his one foot in the door of Final!

Angad Vir Singh Bajwa & Mairaj Ahmad Khan are presently practising in Rome, Italy. They will directly head to Tokyo to participate in the Olympics. They decided to opt out of the 2021 ISSF World Cup in Osijek, Croatia on the advice of their coaches.

The pair of Angad Vir Singh Bajwa & Ganemat Sekhon have similar a similar dominance like the duo of Saurabh Chaudhary & Manu Bhaker. The former have atleast at 2 golds till date. The recent one was clinched at the 2021 ISSF World Cup in New Delhi, India. I bet all Indian shooting aficionados would be desiring to see the pair in action again some time soon :)

Only Indian shotgun shooter who competed in the ongoing 2021 ISSF World Cup is Gurjoat Siingh Khangura. He couldn't make into the finals of 'Skeet Men' event. He finished at the 56th place. He shot 115 targets out of the possible 125!

The Final of 'Skeet Mixed' event is set to get underway in 5 minutes. However, no Indian pair has been sent to participate in Osijek, Croatia.

Her recent form has been nothing but phenomenal! In the 2021 ISSF World Cup in New Delhi, she won the bronze medal in the individual category and gold medal in the team event alongside with Rahi Sarnobat and Chinki Yadav!

Talking about the teen sensation - Manu Bhaker, she registered 292 - 13x to be just outside the bracket of Top-8! She holds the 9th position as she fired 97, 97, 98 in her first three series. A strong show in 'Rapid-Fire' should make her a contender for the 'Final'!

Rahi is known to be a 'Rapid-Fire' expert. So, it's expected that tomorrow she will definitely be among the top 8 who then progress to vie for the medals in the 'Final'!

Her good performance today is an indication of her mental strength. She is a multiple Commonwealth Games medallist, Asian Games champion & has numerous medals in ISSF World Cups. Tokyo will be her second attempt to win that elusive Olympic medal as she made her Games debut in London'12 and couldn't participate in Rio'16 due to injury!

Rahi Sarnobat is World No.2 at the moment. In the recent 2021 ISSF World Cup in New Delhi - India, she won the silver medal. In that tournament, she was recovering from a heel injury. Post it, she got infected with the 'COVID-19' virus.

Rahi Sarnobat shot 295 with the second highest number of inner tens - 14x to be placed at the 3rd spot. Her scores of 1st three series read - 98, 98, 99!

The 'Precision' round took place today. The 'Rapid Fire' round followed by the 'Final' is scheduled for tomorrow. These two qualification parts have an equal weightage - 300 Points each.

The first event of the day was the 25m Pistol Women. It's qualification comprises of two rounds - Precision & Rapid Fire. In this event, Rahi Sarnobat & Manu Bhaker are the chosen ones to represent India at the Tokyo Olympics.
