AEW Collision Live Results (August 3, 2024): HUGE BRAWL, HOLOGRAM APPEARS, FORMER WWE STAR RETURNS!!!

Post-match, Dax Harwood cuts a promo about being the heart and soul of AEW. The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn come out for a confrontation. The Acclaimed asks where the FTR were in the fight against The Elite. After some heated words, we get a slight brawl before Mark Briscoe cools things down.

The Acclaimed refuse to bury the hatchet with FTR and they walk away to end the show.

This match has broken down with all men hitting some big moves and dives all around the ring. In the end, Taven gets taken by all four babyfaces with a superplex, Froggy Bow, and Coffin Drop. Dax Harwood gets the pinfall win for the babyfaces.

Darby Allin, Mark Briscoe and FTR win

Darby Allin is tagged in and he unloads on the Undisputed Kingdom. Briscoe and Mortos take each other down on the floor.

The Beast Mortos connects with a swanton bomb on Dax Harwood and gets a two-count shortly after. Some back-and-forth action later, Roderick Strong hits a knee strike on Harwood. The Beast Mortos is tagged in and he gets taken down with a spinebuster by Dax.

Mark Briscoe connects with a death Valley driver on Matt Taven. FTR double team Taven and Briscoe hits the Froggy Bow, but the heels make the save. Things gets out of control and Beast Mortos hits a huge dive.

Mark Briscoe is tagged in and he unloads with a flurry of offense. He takes down Beast Mortos with a neckbreaker on the floor. Briscoe is finally stopped, but Wheeler makes the save with a diving lariat.

Cash Wheeler has been isolated during this stage of the match. The heel exchanging quick tags. Wheeler gets some offense in, but Bennett connects with a brainbuster. One count only. Matt Taven comes in and gets a two-count on Wheeler.

Mark Briscoe hits a brainbuster on Taven and tags in Darby Allin. Allin grounds Taven and gets a roll up for a one-count. Few more nearfalls.

The babyfaces make quick tags, but Strong hits an elbow shot on Harwood and tags in Mike Bennett. Briscoe and Harwood take down Bennett with double shoulder tackles. Bennett stuns Mark Briscoe before Matt Taven knocks him down.

Darby Allin, Mark Briscoe and FTR vs. The Beast Mortos and Undisputed Kingdom

Roderick Strong and Dax Harwood start the match. Harwood takes Strong down with a side headlock, but Strong corner Harwood. He then connects with a chop and a knee to the midsection. After some back-and-forth, Cash Wheeler is tagged in.

We have the main event up next. Darby Allin, Mark Briscoe and FTR take on The Beast Mortos and Undisputed Kingdom.

Thunder vs Deonna in a Texas Bullrope Match

Post-match, Thunder Rosa calls out Deonna Purrazzo. After some verbal back-and-forth, a Texas Bullrope match is announced for next week.

In the end of the match, there is a miscommunication between Taya Valkyrie and Johnny TV. Thunder Rosa applies a modified cobra clutch on Valkyrie to pick up the win.

Taya stomps on Thunder, but the latter unloads on her opponent. La Mera Mera connects with a running dropkick on the ropes for a two-count. She goes for a power move, but Taya Valkyrie counters it. Rosa gets a two-count on Taya.

Johnny TV pulls Valkyrie out of harm's way. Rosa confronts Johnny, but gets speared by Taya.

Thunder Rosa dominates Taya Valkyrie, but the latter connects with a kick to the side of the head. She then hits a neckbreaker through the ropes for a two-count.

Taya Valkyrie has the advantage early on, but Thunder Rosa makes her comeback. Taya regroups on the outside. Rosa chops Taya before stomping her in the ring.

Top Flight and Leila Grey are in a backstage segment. MxM Collection confront them, take shots at them and we seemingly will have a match.

Claudio Castagnoli gets a shot at Kazuchika Okada's Continental Championship.

After some back-and-forth action, Lee Moriarty gets a two-count on Claudio Castagnoli. But Claudio faceplants him for a two-count. Tomohiro Ishii gets taken out. In the end, Castagnoli connects with a running uppercut on Moriarty to pick up the win.

The pace picks up and we see a German Suplex contest up next. All three men are down on the mat as "This is Awesome" chants start in the arena. Claudio and Ishii battle in the ring, but Moriarty dumps Ishii and almost gets the pin on Claudio.

After some back-and-forth, the action spills to the outside. All three men unload on one another. Back in the ring, we have a chop off. Claudio and Ishii chop Moriarty and the latter tries to fight both off.

Claudio Castagnoli vs. Lee Moriarty vs. Tomohiro Ishii

Lee Moriarty gets the early strike on Tomohiro Ishii. Moriarty gets taken by Claudio Castagnoli. Ishii and Claudio battle in the ring before Lee takes both down with a shotgun dropkick.

We have a three-way match up next. Claudio Castagnoli, Lee Moriarty and Tomohiro Ishii are in action.

Jeff Jarrett and his allies are in a backstage segment. They say that JJ would have had a title shot if not for Hangman Page. Jarrett hypes up Swerve Strickland before he tells Bryan Danielson to make their match on Dynamite an Anything Goes Match.

Post-match, Fletcher calls out MJF and demands that he put his American Championship on the line on Dynamite. MJF appears on the titantron and after some shots says the match on Dynamite will be an eliminator match.

After some back-and-forth, Kyle Fletcher connects with a piledriver on Brian Cage to pick up an impressive win.

Brian Cage lifts Kyle Fletcher up on the turnbuckles and drops him on the mat for a two-count. Fletcher counters the Drill Claw and almost steals the win with a roll up.

The action moves to the entrance ramp and Kyle Fletcher hits a running cannonball on Brian Cage. Back in the ring, Cage hits a Death Valley Driver on Fletcher to get the upperhand.

Brian Cage overpowers Kyle Fletcher into the corner, but the latter connects with some chops. Cage takes down Fletcher with a spinning back elbow, but Fletcher kicks Cage out of the ring. Fletcher follows up with a dive. Cage gets up and slams Fletcher on the steel steps.

Toni Storm vs. enhancement talent

Toni Storm's opponent attacks her at ringside, but The Timeless One turns things around and connects with the Storm Zero for the win.

Mariah May comes out and joins the commentary table. She calls Toni Schiavone a "B**ch" and asks whether she can speak. Toni Storm comes out and we have a brawl between her and May. The two are separated by security.

We see a recap of Bryan Danielson putting his career on the line at All In plus him challenging Jeff Jarrett to a match on Dynamite.

In the end, Hologram connects with a dive to the outside and then he follows up with a 450-splash on Ariya Daivari for the win.

Daivari gets a cheap on Hologram after a distraction from Mark Sterling, but the latter gets taken out with a dive. Nese with a thrust kick on Hologram, but Mistico hits a missile dropkick on Nese.

Mistico finally tags in Hologram. He connects with a spin kick on Ariya Daivari. Hologram unloads on The Premier Athletes and gets a two-count on Daivari. Tony Nese comes in and plants Hologram for a two-count.

Nese grounds Mistico and stops the latter's brief offense. Tony Nese takes down Hologram with a forearm shot, but Mistico takes Nese and Daivari down with double elbow strikes.

Hologram and Mistico are in control, but The Premier Athletes try to make their comeback. Mistico has been isolated by Tony Nese and Daivari.

Hologram and Ariya Davarı start the match. Hologram gets the upperhand with his quick offense, but Daivari attacks the mask to get control. Mistico is tagged in and he takes the fight to The Premier Athletes with a double dropkick.

Dustin Rhodes and The Von Erichs are in a backstage segment. Dustin speaks about their title win before Sammy Guevara appears. The Spanish God wants to team up with Rhodes and The Von Erichs at any cost.

The Patriarchy run away as soon as House of Black are a trio once again, The Bang Bang Gang come out as Kip Sabian also makes his presence felt. Nick Wayne gets taken down by House of Black. HOB and BBG have a standoff to end the segment as The Patriarchy look on.
