Locked in DEEP

Jay eats a horrific knee to the jaw, yet, somehow, kicks out. May is caught in the ropes with a neckbreaker, and Jay blocks a top rope headscissor, hitting a diving blockbuster. The Queen Slayer is locked in, and the only reason Jay has to break it is because May folds over for a pin attempt. May manages to roll Jay up after hanging her on the top rope, securing the win and just BARELY escaping with the gold.

01:57 (GMT)3 NOV 2024

May controls the match throughout the break, but Jay begins to build up some steam. The champ's bounced off the corners, and Jay follows with a few leaping forearms. A shotgun dropkick catches May in the jaw and leaves her in the corner. They trade pinfall attempts, and Jay nearly leaves with the gold.

Is this the last time Mariah May walks out as champion?

A knockout blow!

01:48 (GMT)3 NOV 2024

What a kick!

01:44 (GMT)3 NOV 2024

Taylor catches Roddy and plants him with a ring quaking uranage. A strong forearm nearly puts Roddy to sleep. Roddy avoids the package piledriver and blasts Taylor with a flying knee to the jaw!! He STILL ki--wait...the ref is calling it off as a win for Roddy.

Taylor hammers Strong early, battering the former International Champion with ease. We see MJF watching the match from either a private locker room or a hotel.

01:34 (GMT)3 NOV 2024

Roddy Strong and Shane Taylor are out next. Two of the most dangerous men in AEW and ROH, both always on the cusp of greatness. Tonight, Taylor can play spoiler by ruining Strong's hopes of taking on MJF.

01:33 (GMT)3 NOV 2024

Backstage, MXM Collection and Johnny TV meet. The duo is excited to be in the same building of him, and nearly faint when he offers a chance at a collaboration.

Daivari takes advantage of that and nearly hits his Rainmaker. Lio avoids, hitting the springboard cutter and the Final Hour for the win.

Lio Rush defeats Ariya Daivari via pinfall. Grade: C

The two trade shots and Lio manages to duck a lariat for one of his own. He follows with a big Falcon Arrow for a near fall. Daivari moves up for The Final Hour, but Daivari rolls to the floor. Rush lays out Mark Sterling and Josh Woods on the floor with a pair of bullet-fast suicide dives.

01:27 (GMT)3 NOV 2024

Up next is a battle between former WWE alumnus Lio Rush and Ariya Daivari. Rush gets...well...rushed by Daivari early. The blinding fast Lio responds with a springboard hurricanrana and hammers Daivair in the corner until he ref pulls him away. This allows Daivari to respond with a decapitating lariat.

AEW International Champion Konosuke Takeshita and Kyle Fletcher state that they're looking to get back into the tag title chase. This Wednesday, however, Takeshita has a date with Ricochet. Fletcher says, "Bring whoever you want. I literally do not care."

01:23 (GMT)3 NOV 2024

"I'm going to end all his promises. At Full Gear, I bring back the old Wheeler Yuta, and I take the AEW World Title."

01:22 (GMT)3 NOV 2024

Moxley slaps some fury into Wheeler Yuta before sending him after Orange Cassidy

01:20 (GMT)3 NOV 2024

PAC refuses to break the hold until we see Orange Cassidy's face appear on the screen. He's out where Mox and crew originally were, calling for the "REAL" Wheeler Yuta to show up. He says Mox has never cared about him and is only using him. Mox slaps Wheeler in the face and forces Yuta to go after his former friend.

Wheeler pauses his chair shot and looks back at Mox. OC takes advantage of his hesitation and takes the chair. When Yuta rushes him, OC ducks and hits the Orange Punch before leaving through the crowd.

01:17 (GMT)3 NOV 2024

Break the hold!!

01:17 (GMT)3 NOV 2024

MICHINOKU DRIVER

01:15 (GMT)3 NOV 2024

PAC's powerbomb is escaped and the former International Champion is stunned with an enziguri. A springboard enziguri follows as does a Michinoku Driver, but PAC kicks out. A distraction from Shafir allows PAC to take over with a top rope superplex. The Brutalizer's locked in, and there's just nowhere to go.

PAC defeats Action Andretti via submission. Grade: C+

01:12 (GMT)3 NOV 2024

PAC mauls Andretti throughout the entire commercial break. Andretti manages to finally catch PAC with a handspring back elbow, but he's been so beaten down that he's not even the first to his feet. Andretti dodges a few strikes and hits a pop-up dropkick!! We've got life here!!

01:10 (GMT)3 NOV 2024

PAC blindsides Action Andretti

01:09 (GMT)3 NOV 2024

I love this kid!

01:09 (GMT)3 NOV 2024

Pac batters Andretti as we roll into the next commercial break. The Philly Native has a chance to be a hero tonight, but it's not starting off well for him...

01:07 (GMT)3 NOV 2024

Mox calls Wheeler Yuta a real hero and a hard-working kid, someone that Mox loves with all his heart and one that Philadelphia should embrace. Action Andretti's music hits, and the Top Flight member has had enough of Mox's talking. So it seems we've got a match tonight. It's Action Andretti and any member of the BCC...if they accept.

As Andretti stares at Mox, Yuta, and Shafir, he's blindsided by PAC. Looks like we've got our match.

01:02 (GMT)3 NOV 2024

Jon Moxley is out next. The AEW World Champion is flanked by Marina Shafir and Wheeler Yuta, but he's not carrying the title with him. In three weeks, Moxley defends the gold against Orange Cassidy. OC's got the right idea, but that doesn't mean he'll be successful according to Mox.

"Can you make it to Full Gear with your body and mind intact?"

01:01 (GMT)3 NOV 2024

Kris Statlander cuts a promo on Mercedes Mone, calling her a coward and saying that she's nobody without her muscle Kamille. Since Statlander already eliminated Kamille, all that's left is the TBS Championship around Mone's waist.

They continue the assault after the match, hitting their individual finishers. Before it can go further, Undisputed Kingdom makes the save. Kyle O'Reilly watches backstage, perplexed by his former group's change of heart.

00:47 (GMT)3 NOV 2024

Backstage, Jack Perry is in the middle of a promo before he's interrupted by Daniel Garcia. Garcia wants to choke Perry out backstage, but he knows that's not a way to get through to him. Get it? CM Punk?

00:46 (GMT)3 NOV 2024

Fletcher attacks Komander after the match. Luckily for Komander, Fletcher's former tag partner, Mark Davis, makes the save. Davis tries to goad Fletcher into hitting him, but he refuses.

00:45 (GMT)3 NOV 2024

A big moonsault gets Komander another near-fall. Fletcher rocks him with a nasty clothesline and sets up for a superplex. Komander counters, and as Fletcher's left on the mat, he's rocked with a double jump springboard destroyer!!

Fletcher goes for the Tiger Driver, only for Komander to counter with a near pinfall! Fletcher blocks a poison rana until they fall from the floor to the ring, where Komander hits one!! Komander might be able to do this!

00:40 (GMT)3 NOV 2024

Fletcher rocks Komander's manager with a superkick and eats a fantastic springboard moonsault from Komander for his transgressions. Back inside, Komander catches Fletcher bouncing off the ropes for a standing Spanish Fly!! 1-2-no!! Fletcher just barely kicks out, and an angry fan shouts, "Bull****!!"

00:35 (GMT)3 NOV 2024

A powerbomb to the apron leaves Komander in a bad way as the ref goes to check on him. A lesser man might take this as a sign to stop, but Komander does not quit.

00:34 (GMT)3 NOV 2024

Komander hits a beautiful springboard moonsault. Fletcher catches him, but Komander counters with a crucifix pin, nearly getting the W!

00:33 (GMT)3 NOV 2024

Fletcher catches Komander with a cheap shot and takes over immediately, launching his opponent around the ring with ease. Komander's left in the Tree of Woe for a series of kicks. So much for a show stealer. This is a one-sided mauling.
