AEW Dynamite Live Results (February 28, 2024): Ric Flair gets physical, Sting's final appearance, The Young Bucks threaten to fine top star, Former WWE Champion returns, Official debut

Sting and Darby Allin take down The Young Bucks as they stand tall in the ring with Ric Flair to end the show.

The Young Bucks take down Flair with a low blow before Sting's music plays. The Bucks are waiting for him on the ramp, but The Icon makes his entrance by coming down from the rafters in a cool way.

Ric Flair comes out to the ring. He teases siding with The Young Bucks, but ends up attacking them.

The Young Bucks connects with the EVP Trigger and hit some baseball bat shots.

The Bucks check in on some fans wearing Sting's masks. One of them turns out to be Darby Allin. He has some brief offense, but The Young Bucks outnumber him.

The Young Bucks come out for the main event of the night. Sting's final AEW Dynamite appearance.

Post-match, Jericho and Atlantis Jr. & Sr. have a heartfelt moment in the ring.

Towards the end of the match, Chris Jericho has Atlantis Jr. locked in the Walls of Jericho and his father throws in the towel.

Chris Jericho wins

Atlantis Jr. stops Chris Jericho with a powerslam and gets a two-count. Jericho crashes and burns on the floor. Atlantis Jr. connects with a tope suicida.

Atlantis Jr. hits an arm drag from the turnbuckles and Jericho has an awkward landing. Atlantis Jr. hits a German, but The Ocho recovers and hits a bulldog from the turnbuckles.

Atlantis Jr. recovers after a brief back-and-forth and connects with a frog splash. He then exchanges chops with the WWE legend.

Atlantis Sr. distracts Chris Jericho and Atlantis Jr. connects with a tope. After some back-and-forth, Jericho slams Jr. on the steel steps.

Jericho turns things around with a Walls of Jericho, but Atlantis Jr. reaches the bottom rope. The Ocho looks to unmask Atlantis Jr., but is stopped.

Chris Jericho vs. Atlantis Jr.

Atlantis Jr. drops Chris Jericho with a dropkick early on. He then hits an enziguiri and backflips Jericho across the ring. Once again.

Chris Jericho comes for his match in his Lionheart persona. It is Atlantis Jr.'s debut in AEW.

We see The Young Bucks looking to attack Sting in his locker room, but The Icon is not there. MIND GAMES.

Towards the end, Stokely Hathaway wants Kris Statlander to use a steel chain, but she refuses. After some shenanigans, Julia Hart strikes Kris with the TBS Title and Skye Blue connects with the Code Blue for the win.

Skye Blue wins

Blue responds with a neckbreaker and gets a two-count of her own. The two stars battle on the apron, but Blue is dropped with a German suplex.

Kris Statlander hits a lariat, uppercut, and a knee to the side of the head. She then hits a powerslam for a nearfall on Skye Blue.

Blue slams Statlander's head on the turnbuckles and stomps on the former TBS Champion. After a back-and-forth, both stars are down.

Statlander picks Blue and dumps her over the barricades and onto the fans at ringside. Blue shows a vicious side and stomps on Kris to make her comeback.

Kris Statlander vs. Skye Blue

Kris Statlander unloads on Skye Blue early on, but the latter fights back. Blue's hurricanrana is blocked and Kris connects with a knee to the face.

Bang Bang Scissor Gang are in a backstage segment. Jay White says they are gelling together. We will get a match involving Austin Gunn and The Acclaimed on Collision.

Post-match, Roderick Strong attacks Orange Cassidy, but Best Friends chase him away.

Towards the end, Daniel Garcia distracts Nick Wayne and Orange Cassidy picks up the win with an Orange Punch.

Orange Cassidy retains

But Orange Cassidy connects with the Beach Break. The Undisputed Kingdom come and Wayne takes advantage. Best Friends take out The Undisputed Kingdom.

Cassidy fires up with multiple stomps on Wayne and hits a running PK. His Orange Punce is stopped by Wayne with a German Suplex.

Orange Cassidy looks to make his comeback. He slams Nick Wayne's head on the turnbuckles and follows up with a diving crossbody. He then hits a DDT for a two-count.

The referee finds out and sends The Patriarchy members to the backstage area. Nick Wayne continues his offense on Cassidy.

But Nick Wayne leaps and takes down the champion. Wayne misses a stomp but connects with an uppercut. OC fights off Wayne, but Christian Cage attacks him behind the referee's back.

Wayne hits an enziguiri and looks to be in control early on. Wayne hits a moonsault off the middle rope on the outside. OC rolls out of harm's way.

Orange Cassidy (c) vs. Nick Wayne - AEW International Championship Match

Nick Wayne applies a side headlock early on. Orange Cassidy responds with a side headlock of his own.

Orange Cassidy defends his title against Nick Wayne next.

Eddie Kingston is in a backstage segment. The Young Bucks come in looking for Sting before threatening to fine Eddie for his comments on Collision. The Bucks tell Eddie to improve his presentation.

There seems to be some tension between Ospreay and Takeshita, but things cool down. Will Ospreay is left standing in the ring to end the segment.

Callis then hypes up the match between Konosuke Takeshita and Will Ospreay. He says whoever wins, Don Callis Family will be the victor.

All men share hugs, except between Ospreay and Takeshita. Don Callis takes the mic and loud boos for him.

Ospreay brings up defeating Orange Cassidy, Kenny Omega, and Chris Jericho on AEW pay-per-view. Don Callis Family come out.

We get confirmation about Ospreay being ALL ELITE. He says that his obligations with NJPW are done. Will then had a holiday in Barbados. He looks hyped to be ALL ELITE.

Tony Schiavone is in the ring. He calls out Will Ospreay. His official debut as an AEW star.

Chris Jericho returns to AEW and he is in a backstage segment. He brings up his past with Atlantis Sr. and then says he asked for the match against Atlantis Jr. He cuts a promo in Spanish to end the segment.

Towards the end, Bryan Danielson connects with the Busaiku Knee after missing once before. He then unloads with hammer and anvil strikes and applies a triangle choke to pick up the win.

Blackpool Combat Club win

All six men are battling in the ring. Blackpool Combat Club beat down FTR and Eddie Kingston. Mox puts Dax in a sleeper hold and as does the other two. FTR and Eddie get out.

Mox and Eddie exchange blows. Kingston hits a lariat, but BCC take him down with a series of moves. After some back-and-forth, FTR hit a doomsday device-like move, and Kingston gets a nearfall on Bryan.

Claudio Castagnoli takes out Cash Wheeler. Bryan Danielson and Eddie Kingston exchange strikes in the ring. Eddie emerges on top, but Claudio and Mox try to stop him.

Mox and Claudio double Harwood and Danielson hits a diamond headbutt in the middle of the ring. Moxley wears down Harwood's shoulder, but the latter reverses.

Claudio and Dax battle in the ring and the former hits a lariat for a two-count. Dax Harwood has been isolated by BCC. He tries to get out after sending Mox into the corner, but Danielson stops him.

After a brief standoff, BCC target Harwood this time around. Danielson attacks Dax's shoulder and unloads on him at ringside. Danielson whips Eddie onto the barricades and follows up with a sliding dropkick.
