AEW Dynamite Live Results (February 7th, 2024): Sting challenges for his final championship before retirement!

The Bucks' all-white suits are stained with the blood of the new AEW World Tag Team Champions!! This is despicable!! Vile!!

The Young Bucks attack after the match, bloodying Sting, Darby Allin, and even attacking Sting's sons who were in attendance!!

And ne--wait, what are the Young Bucks doing?!

And NEWWWWWW!!

Sting manages to catch Ricky with the Scorpion Death Drop! 1-2-3!!

Sting and Darby Allin defeat Ricky Starks and Big Bill via pinfall.

As Sting goes for a Stinger Splash, Ricky removes a buckle pad and avoids the attack. Sting fires up again but a spear cuts him down.

Sting kicks out!!

A Stinger Splash and a Code Red from Sting and Darby, respectfully, takes Bill to the floor. Darby hits a Coffin Drop as Sting traps Ricky in the Scorpion Death Lock!

Bill climbs up the ropes with Darby on his back, only for Darby to force them both through the table.

The champs set a table up outside and as Bill is set to send Darby into it with a press slam, Sting runs in and makes the save. Bill batters Sting, but the legend managed to avoid the boot and crotch him on the top rope.

Starks plants Sting with the Scorpion Death Drop! 1-2-Darby breaks it up!

Back from the break, Big Bill blasts Sting with a brutal lariat. Darby attempts a suicide dive but he turns it into an East River Crossing on the floor! Back in the ring, Bill mocks the multi-time TNT Champion and slams him repeatedly into the mat.

Bill grabs Darby by the neck and launches him overhead with ease! This might be the end...

Sting disappears while Darby sets up the champions. Sting hits a huge dive onto Ricky and BIll, and the crowd is eating it up! That man is wild!

It's a tornado tag match, so you know what that means. Both these teams have left the ringside area and gone into the crowd. Darby goes after Big Bill while Ricky Starks takes punishment from Sting, who batters Starks with a trash can.

Sting and Darby Allin are out next to challenge Big Bill and Ricky Starks for the AEW Tag Team Championships. This will probably be the final title opportunity for Sting's legendary career. Can he win his first and only AEW title tonight?!

The Walls are locked in! Callis launches a chair into the ring to distract the ref, allowing him to crack Jericho in the top of the head with the screwdriver!!

Jericho falls over and is locked in.

Konosuke Takeshita defeats Chris Jericho via submission.

Jericho moves for another Lionsault only to be caught in a Blue Thunder Bomb. He kicks out of that, and somehow kicks out of a top rope BTB!! His head bounces terribly off the mat, though.

Takeshita goes for his flying clothesline, but Jericho catches him out of mid-air with the Codebreaker! It's not enough for the three, but Jericho's finally on the offense.

Takeshita has Jericho down for a dive, but when he leaves his feet for the diving senton, Jericho gets his knees up. THe former AEW World Champ goes for the Lionsault, but Takeshita follows Jericho's idea.

Powerhouse Hobbs interferes, leading to Sammy Guevara to run down and crack him with a chair. That doesn't work, but a leaping cutter off the steps does! He follows with another chair shot that sends Hobbs over the barricade.

Back inside the ring, the distraction allows Jericho to hit the triangle dropkick on Takeshita. He puts on Takeshita's mask and dives down for a cross body, but basically misses his target.

Say what you want about the Don Callis Family. Takeshita's got a great loook.

Whatever that was, it works. Takeshita drops Jericho with a brain buster on the floor and continues to fire up inside the ring.

Chris Jericho and Konosuke Takeshita are next. Jericho sends Takeshita to the floor, causing Don Callis to slap him and get him motivated...I guess?

Tony Khan's big announcement? Big Business! In five weeks, AEW Dynamite presents Big Business at the TD Garden in Boston. Khan claims that this will be one of the biggest nights in AEW history.

Adam Cole rolls forward and mocks Chuckie T. "Get well soon, Chuch."

Backstage, Chuck Taylor is being attacked by the Undisputed Kingdom!! They're tearing Chuckie T apart!

I smell a Blood and Guts match coming.

After the match, the rest of the CMLL crew in attendance rush to the ring. Several AEW wrestlers join BCC, fending Team CMLL off for now.

As the ref is distracted, Claudio picks up Hechicero and hits an inverted atomic drop, essentially a low blow, before getting the pin.

BCC defeats Team CMLL via pinfall.

A rolling sunset flip bomb catches Claudio, but Mox breaks up Dorada's pinfall attempt. Hechicero tags in and traps Claudio in a knee bar and nearly gets a win! Bryan breaks up the hold, but is caught in a stretch muffler!

Team CMLL take BCC to the floor as Dorada lands on them all with a beautiful dive! This is incredible! Hechicero hits a spinning backbreaker on Bryan and Dorada follows with a 450 for a near fall.

Mox mauls Volador, but a thrust kick stuns the former AEW World Champion. Volador gets to Maskara Dorada while Mox tags out to Bryan.

Dorada takes out Bryan and Mox before catching Claudio with an insane running twisting hurricanrana.

During the break, the BCC takes over with Claudio catching Volador Jr with the giant swing. The ring has been cut off, as Team CMLL is dying for a tag.

The BCC may have met their match tonight

Volador sends Mox to the floor and sets up for a suicide dive. BCC attack him as soon as he does, but the rest of team CMLL save him from suffering for too long. Mox attempts a suicide dive to Volador as well, ending in him meeting Volador's fate; Team CMLL stomping him out on the floor.

Volador Jr. and Jon Moxley are next! The BCC are struggling right now!

Bryan tags out to Claudio after being rolled around the ring. Dorado is in next, and his strikes do nothing to the Swiss Superman. Claudio stops the flips, driving Dorado down with a standing STO. Claudio attempts to counter a hurricanrana with a giant swing, but Dorado manages to send the former ROH World Champ to the floor.

Bryan starts things off with Hechicero, getting into a quick technical back-and-forth. Hechicero catches Bryan in a rolling bow and arrow, and Danielson, though he escapes, seems shaken.

Jon Moxley, Bryan Danielson, and Claudio Castagnoli of the BCC take on CMLL's Maskarada Dorada, Hechicero, and Volador Jr next!

Storm responds with the running hip attack and traps Velvet with the ankle lock while staring Deonna Purrazzo down.

Toni Storm defeats Deonna Purrazzo via submission.

Storm batters Velvet a bit, but Velvet ducks a final punch and pelts the champ with a series of body shots before going for a devastating leaping crescent kick. A handspring bulldog plants Storm.

A champion right out of Turner Classic Movies!

A big choke bomb from Storm plants Red Velvet, who kicks out at two. The AEW Women's World Champion is in total control, locking in a sleeper in the middle of the ring before dropping an elbow to her sternum.

Deonna says she doesn't know where this side of Storm has come from, and that she doesn't really recognize her. Considering how Deonna has carried herself in recent years, you'd think they'd be even better friends now.

Deonna Purrazzo joins Taz, Excalibur, and Tony Schiavone at the commentary desk for the next one. Toni Storm takes on Red Velvet in what should be a great one.

It's revealed by Tony Schiavone that Tony Khan has made a decision. Both men will face Samoa Joe at Revolution!

Joe is furious about it backstage, but it doesn't matter. He will walk out of Revolution as AEW World Champion, and both Hanger and Swerve will suffer for their transgressions.

Swerve demands five more minutes from Hangman, and we all expect an emphatic yes. The Millennial Cowboy, though, says no! Swerve had to beat him to get a title shot, and he didn't do it. So he's not meeting Joe at Revolution.
