AEW Dynamite Live Results (July 16, 2025): ADAM COPELAND TO GET FIRED? WWE LEGEND RETURNS; WORLD CHAMPION TAPS OUT; THE YOUNG BUCKS FORM A NEW ALLIANCE!!

Post-match, Jon Moxley attacks Hangman Page from behind, and the other Death Riders members join in. DARBY ALLIN is shown watching from an elevated area. That distracts Jon Moxley, and he gets dropped with a Buckshot Lariat. The babyfaces stand tall as the show goes off the air.

Hangman Page looks for the Buckshot Lariat on Claudio, but Moxley stops him. Hobbs hits the spinebuster on Moxley. Yuta comes in with a Busaiku Knee. Mark Briscoe connects with the FROGGY BOW on Yuta. In the end, Page steals the win for his team with a jackknife cover on Claudio Castagnoli.

Mark Briscoe, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Hangman Page win

After some back-and-forth action, Mark Briscoe finally makes the tag to Hangman Page. He hits a pop-up powerbomb for a two-count on Yuta, but Claudio breaks it up. Claudio and Yuta hit the fast ball special for a nearfall. Page avoids the Doomsday Device and hits rolling elbows.

Jon Moxley takes a cheap shot at Hangman Page on the apron and connects with a piledriver on Mark Briscoe. Powerhouse Hobbs breaks the pinfall attempt, but gets taken out by Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta.

Mark Briscoe climbs up the turnbuckles, but Marina Shafir stops him and gouges his eyes. That turns things around, and Death Riders regain the upper hand in this match. Briscoe tries for a sunset flip, but Claudio stops him with a double stomp.

Marina Shafir also gets in some strikes. Jon Moxley sends Hobbs crashing onto the steel steps. The Death Riders are completely dominating Powerhouse Hobbs. Hobbs drops Yuta with a powerslam and tags in Mark Briscoe. He comes in with a flurry of offense before a boot stops him.

Powerhouse Hobbs hits a scoop slam on Wheeler Yuta. Yuta hits a weak chop and gets dropped with a slam once again. Jon Moxley gets involved in the match and pulls Hobbs' hair. Hobbs is harmed badly, but he gets taken down by Claudio Castagnoli with a chop block on the outside.

Jon Moxley thinks about getting involved in the action, but backs out. Hobbs drops Yuta with a vertical suplex and tags in Mark Briscoe. Briscoe gets a nearfall on Yuta. He hits a neckbreaker and tags in Hangman Page. Page connects with some chops and then hits a running lariat for a two-count.

The Death Riders vs. Mark Briscoe, Powerhouse Hobbs, Hangman Page

Powehouse Hobbs and Claudio Castagnoli start the match. They have a slugfest, and Hobbs comes out on top of that exchange. Hangman Page is tagged in, and he unloads on Claudio Castagnoli. The babyfaces isolate Wheeler Yuta and dominate him. Hobbs is the legal man.

Swerve Strickland confronts Kazuchika Okada and asks what he is going to do about him costing The Young Bucks their EVP status. Okada and Don Callis walk away, almost certainly plotting something for the future.

Post-match, Okada calls out Swerve Strickland for scr*wing with The Young Bucks. He calls The Realest a b*tch, and out comes Swerve Strickland.

Kazuchika Okada vs. enhancement talent

Kazuchika Okada unloads on his opponent from the get-go. He hits an elbow strike and then follows up with a dropkick. Okada gets the win after a Rainmaker.

The former Patriarchy is in a backstage segment. They cut a promo on Christian Cage and take shots at him.

Athena interrupts Toni Storm from backstage via the titantron and warns The Timeless One. Storm is not fazed by Athena and says she will be ready for The Fallen Goddess.

TONI STORM CUTS A PROMO ON AEW DYNAMITE. She mentions multiple names for herself and adds that she is still the champ. Storm heaps praise on Mercedes Mone, in her own way, and even teases a rematch with Mone. Storm reveals that Luther suffered an injury during All In and will need a reattachment surgery.

Kris Statlander and Willow battle it out and go to the backstage area. Queen Aminata hits the neckbreaker and a double stomp for a two-count. Skye Blue comes out and distracts the referee. Julia Hart comes from behind and spits the mist on Aminata. Thekla then gets the win after hitting a Stomp.

Kris Statlander is sent to Willow by Thekla. She then connects with the spear on Queen Aminata. All four women connect with big moves. After some back-and-forth action, Willow hits the Doctor Bomb on Thekla and is about to get the three-count, but Kris Statlander pulls the referee to the outside.

Thekla and Kris Statlander briefly ally before Queen Aminata comes in. There is hard-hitting action both inside the ring and outside. Thekla hits a DDT on Willow with some assistance from Kris Statlander. Thekla and Aminata battle on the turnbuckle, and Thekla hits the Spider Suplex.

Willow drops Thekla with a backbreaker on the neck. Thekla gains control of the match with a huge crossbody on the outside. Back in the ring, Thekla gets a two-count on Willow Nightingale. She then wrenches Willow in the middle of the squared circle.

Kris Statlander vs. Thekla vs. Willow Nightingale vs. Queen Aminata

Thekla starts the match strongly, but Kris Statlander drops her with a delayed vertical suplex. Queen Aminata gets involved and hits a lunging boot on Kris for a two-count. Willow Nightingale hits a senton before battling Aminata. Aminata hits the Devil's Kiss on Willow before Thekla kicks Aminata.

Mark Briscoe is in a backstage segment. He takes a shot at MJF and claims The Hurt Syndicate member avoided him in the Casino Gauntlet at All In. Briscoe is fired up and threatens to get his revenge on MJF.

Stokely says FTR needs to focus on the AEW World Tag Team Championship. Copeland says he may be fired for being around FTR, but not for being around Stokely. Copeland takes out the security officials and then spears Stokely!!!

FTR's music plays and out comes.......Stokely Hathaway. Stokely says FTR saw through him and then calls Cope's weapon, Spike, a liability. Stokely claims AEW, Tony Khan, and Warner Media received three anonymous emails for his actions after All In. Stokely then says that if Cope appears during FTR's matches, attacks them, or even shakes their hands, he'll be FIRED!!!

Cope brings up his history with FTR and is angry that they took him out for four months. Cope reveals that his aim is not to stop FTR from winning the AEW World Tag Team Titles, it is to END FTR.

Cope hopes Christian Cage finds himself once again. The Rated-R Superstar mentions he returned at All In to get revenge on FTR.

Cope thanks the fans after a loud chant breaks out. He then reveals that he didn't come out to help Christian Cage at AEW All In. Cope brings up all the bad things Christian has done to him due to jealousy. Cope adds he doesn't blame Nick Wayne, Shayna Wayne, or Kip Sabian for turning on Cage.

All men connect with big moves. Bandido drops Nick Jackson with a cutter and then hits the X-Knee. Josh Alexander stops his 21 Plex. In the end, Bandido gets spiked on the mat before The Young Bucks hit a double superkick. Hechicero then applies the choke on Bandido to get the win for his team.

The Young Bucks and Don Callis Family win

After some back-and-forth, Brody King unloads on the heels. Bandido is the legal man. JetSpeed takes out The Young Bucks and Josh Alexander. Bandido gets a two-count on Hechicero after a move from the turnbuckle.

Hechicero comes in and continues to dominate Kevin Knight. Knight connects with a slam, but The Bucks take down the babyfaces on the apron. The Bucks go for the EVP Trigger, but realize they are not the EVPs.

Matt and Nick Jackson show their teamwork, and the heels are in complete control. Nick Jackson tags in Josh Alexander. Alexander connects with a chop on Kevin Knight and gets a two-count shortly after. Josh then shuts Knight down with a back elbow. He stomps Knight on the limbs in their corner.

The Young Bucks and Don Callis Family vs. JetSpeed, Brody King, Bandido

Brody King knocks down Josh Alexander after an early scuffle. Bandido and Hechicero come in next. Don Callis keeps mentioning that Kenny Omega is "dead." The action goes on full speed, and Jet Speed takes down The Young Bucks on the outside.

The Young Bucks make their entrance for the match. They don't get pyros, and the titantron shows their All In loss and how they are NO LONGER EVPs. The Young Bucks are called Matt and Nick Jackson.

We see a backstage clip of The Hurt Syndicate. MVP urges for some challenge and says it is boring destroying the tag team division. MJF cuts a promo on Hangman Page and claims he's better than him, among other things.

We see The Young Bucks being treated badly backstage, and they are not happy. Renee Paquette makes fun of them, Marina Shafir ignores them, and Ricochet and Gates of Agony mock them. Don Callis comes in, and we see The Bucks form an alliance with him.

Dustin Rhodes will make an appearance on AEW Collision.

Mascara Dorada with some blistering chops and follows up with a kick. Fletcher catches Dorada and drops him on the turnbuckles. He then hits the running boot and follows up with a sheer drop brainbuster for the win.

Kyle Fletcher wins

After a back-and-forth, Dorada gets a two-count on Fletcher with a Code Red. Kyle Fletcher stops Mascara Dorada with a high kick. Dorada avoids the brainbuster on the turnbuckles. Dorada hits a hurricanrana and follows up with the 450-splash for a two-count.

Fletcher gets a two-count with a scoop slam and continues to have the momentum. Mascara Dorada shifts the momentum and connects with a thrust kick. He hits a shooting star press from the middle rope to the outside.

Mascara Dorada drops Kyle Fletcher with a springboard missile dropkick, but Fletcher gets him down. Fletcher goes for a dive to the outside, but misses. Mascara connects with his dive. Back in the ring, Fletcher drops Dorada with a side slam to get the upper hand.

Kyle Fletcher attacks Mascara Dorada early on and stomps on him. He has grounded Dorada and follows up with chops. Dorada responds with overhand chops.

The in-ring action starts with Kyle Fletcher and Mascara Dorada.

We see an "earlier today" clip showing The Young Bucks arriving at the arena in a Lyft or Uber, rather than their limousine, after losing their EVP status.
