After the match, Jon Moxley makes his way out to the ring and comes face to face with Danielson. Danielson offers him a handshake as a sign of respect, and Mox obliges.

Jericho tries to endure the pain but not for too long as he is forced to tap out.

Bryan Danielson defeats Chris Jericho via Submission to advance to the Finals of the Grand Slam Tournament of Champions

Jericho and Danielson engage in a slug fest. Danielson manages to gain the upper hand and topples Jericho for the LeBelle lock in the centre of the ring.

Jericho attempts the Figure Four again and this time, he's able to lock it in.

Jericho transitions into a heel lock. Danielson manages to reach close to the ropes. Jericho drags him back to the centre of the ring and tries to lock in the Figure Four. Danielson sends him into the turnbuckle.

Danielson goes for the Busako knee but collapses midway due to his hurt ankle. Jericho locks in the Walls of Jericho.

Jericho lands a knee breaker. He goes for another one but Danielson blocks it with the Anvil elbows.

Danielson seems to have sustained an injury to his calf and knee. Jericho targets it and locks in a figure four lock with the help of the ring post.

Jericho and Danielson brawl on the apron and it doesn't end well for the latter. Jericho suplexes Danielson to the outside.

Jericho fights out of it and lands a set of elbow strikes.

Jericho hits a Hurricanrana from the top rope. He goes for the Judas effect but misses as Danielson counters and locks in a submission move.

Jericho taunts Danielson but the latter wakes up doing press-ups. However, Danielson's adrenaline comes to a halt as Jericho lands the Lionsault for a two count.

Both superstars are on their knees as Jericho continues to punch Danielson. He smashes Danielson's face into the mat.

The action quickly spills to the outside as Danielson focuses on Jericho's arm. He hits a missile dropkick on Jericho and follows it up with a diving headbutt from the top rope. He drives his knees into Jericho's shoulder.
