While the girls have finished their campaign, India still has another chance to land a gold in archery.

The men's compound team will soon be in action against the mighty Koreans.

We'll bring you live updates from that match as well.

Stay tuned!

11:49 (IST)28 AUG 2018

So this itself was a historic result for the girls.

They just have to keep being flawless under pressure to get that elusive gold. And some day, they surely will.

11:48 (IST)28 AUG 2018

This is the first time the Indian compound women's archery team wins a silver medal at the Asian Games!

Before this no woman archer from India, recurve or compound, won anything better than a bronze.

11:46 (IST)28 AUG 2018

This was still a very good effort from Team India.

They defeated the highly fancied Chinese Taipei in the semi-finals to progress to the final. That itself was an excellent result.

11:44 (IST)28 AUG 2018

India has a lot to learn from their own performance. While they need to plug the loopholes, they should get inspired from the Koreans and learn how to peak under pressure.

11:42 (IST)28 AUG 2018

Team Korea didn't start the match well but they kept getting better and better as the match progressed.

That is exactly what champions do and that is why they deserve the gold.

11:41 (IST)28 AUG 2018

But Jyothi Surekha! What a model of consistency and what calmness under pressure!

She was the most experienced and a lot was expected from her. She never ever faltered! Jyothi kept on shooting a 10 throughout the match! Stunning performance from her, even when her teammates started struggling towards the end.

11:39 (IST)28 AUG 2018

India started on a high, with three 10s and grabbed an immediate lead. However, their level dipped as the match progressed. The second half of End 4 was absolutely disappointing as youngsters, Kumari and Muskan couldn't deliver the goods.
