Asian Games 2018: Bowling Live Score, Latest Updates and Results

Follow all the live updates from bowling on day 5 of the Asian games.

The two Indian teams didn't have a great outing. Out of the 33 trios, one finished 17th and the other finished 26th.

Out of nowhere, it looks as though the first block is over. Japan lead the way, Malaysia are second and Singapore are third.

The three different time zones in Indonesia has made things really difficult for those covering it to figure out when the action actually begins. The bowling was supposed to start at 7.30 am IST but an hour later, we are still waiting for the start.

India will need a strong start if they are to push for a place in the medal round later today.

India are in action in the Men's Trios 1st Block. There are two teams from India competing for a place in the medal round that will take place later today.

7:30 am - Men's Trios, 1st Block - India Team 1 (Parvez Ahmed Saud, Shoumick Datta, Kishan Ramachandraiah), Team 2 (Dhruv Sarda, Akaash Ashok Kumar, Shabbir Asgarali Dhankot)

12:00 pm - Men's Trios, 2nd Block - 2 teams [Medal round]

The 4th day of the multi-sporting extravaganza was excellent for India. Rahi Sarnobat won another gold in shooting by bagging the top spot in the Women's 25m Pistol event. The shooter from Kolhapur has created history by becoming India's first female shooter to win Gold in an individual event at Asiad.

Elsewhere, two medals were confirmed in tennis -- Ankita Raina confirmed her medal after defeating Chong Euduce Wong of Hong Kong 6-4, 6-1 to enter the top 4 in women's singles while the Men's duo of Rohan Bopanna/Divij Sharan also won their quarterfinal encounter 6-3, 5-7, 10-1 and entered the semis, thereby confirming a medal. They will be in action in their respective matches today!

Two Indian teams will be in action in first block of the Men's Trios. A strong performance there will mean that they will be in contention for the medal round that will take place later in the day.
