The pressure is on the reigning Olympic champion to come out all guns blazing in the third round.

At the end of the second round, Amit is still very much in the contest.

Amit has been incredibly effective at responding to any threat posed by the Uzbekistan boxer.

That was incredibly sharp from Amit but he has to wait and bide his time.

Dusmatov is starting to respond and with a minute to go in the second round, the tide is starting to change.

But the Uzbekistan boxer knows that he has plenty of time in his hands and is slowly kicking into top gear.

Dusmatov is having a few problems and Amit has dominated so far from close quarters.

Amit looks very sharp today and is looking like he is on course to repeat if not better his heroics from the Commonwealth games earlier this year when he won SILVER.

And we are underway in the second round as both boxers are taking things slow to begin with.

At the end of the first round, this doesn't look like it is going to be a close contest.

Amit has delivered a couple of sharp right hand punches but both fighters have been on the offensive in the first round.

There is a slight delay with just a minute to go in the first period as Hasanboy's laces need to be tied.

Every time Hasanboy goes on the offensive, Amit comes right back.

This has been excellent from both boxers, who are going all out early and keep each other guessing.

Amit is clear that he isn't just going stand and around before handing over the gold medal to Hasanboy.

Boxing has exactly gone according to plan for India at the Asian Games 2018. Vikas Krishnan, who was one of the favorites to claim the GOLD, had to settle for Bronze after he was deemed medically unfit to take part in his semi-final bout.

Aside from that, India haven't got another medal in the sport although that will change after Amit Panghal's bout, which will be India's last attempt to claim a medal in boxing at the Asian Games 2018.

India already have 65 medals so far at the Asian Games 2018. That equals their best-ever medals tally at the Games, which they previously achieved at the Asian Games 2010 in Guangzhou. With two medals, one of them in boxing, already assured, India will have their highest-ever tally. But how many will they finish with eventually?
