The Indian did lead in the first two tries but Injeong's comeback dented Jyotika's surge to victory as the score read 0-1, 0-2, 1-2, 2-2, 2-3, 3-3, 4-3, 5-3 in favour of the Korean.

The Indians clearly not having the greatest day as Dutta Jyotika loses her second bout 1-5 to Philippines' Abella Hanniel. 

The Indian managed to draw scores but Hanniel picked four points in a row to win 1-0, 1-1, 2-1, 3-1, 4-1, 5-1.

Hello and Welcome to Sportskeeda's coverage of the Asian Games! Next up is Fencing!

The eighteenth edition of the pan-Asian games come to us from Indonesian cities of Jakarta and Palembang, where over five hundred and fifty Indian sportspersons will try to win medals for the country.

Day Two of the Asian Games was action-packed as India won a few medals. There was also progress on other fronts. 

Vinesh Phogat won the Gold medal in Women's wrestling, while Deepak Kumar and Lakshay won the Silver in Shooting. As a result, after Day Two, India has a total of Five medals in their account. There was progress elsewhere, as the six out of seven Indian representations made it through to the next round in tennis. 

Action continues on the third day of the 2018 Asian Games as the fencing team comprising of Jyoti and Seerat Singh will be featuring in the Women's Epee Individual Preliminary rounds. 

Seerat Singh Jas will be competing in the Pool B category, while Jyoti will take part from Group C.

This will be India's first appearance in the fencing event and the eves will hope to put their best foot forward
