Women's 49er FX: Race 9 results are out, India duo of Varsha Gautham and Sweta Shervegar finished at the second position, we can expect a medal in this category

Race 8 results, Open Laser 4.7

Open laser 4.7: Race 8 results are out, India's Bairagi Govind is at the third position with a total of 37 and net points summing up to 28. On the other hand while Tomar Harshita is at the 7th position

Race 9 results, Men's 49er

Men's 49er: Race 9 results are out, Ashok Thakkar and Kelapanda Chengappa finish at the third position with a total of 23.5 and net point accumulation of 19.5

Open laser 4.7: Bairagi Govind and Tomar Harshita are in action in the category (Race 8 underway)

Women's 49er FX: Varsha Gautham and Sweta Shervagar are at the third position at the moment (Race 9 underway)

Men's 49er: The Indian pair of Ashok Thakkar and Kelapanda Chengappa are currently at the fourth position (Race 9 underway)

Hello and Welcome to Sportskeeda's LIVE coverage of the 2018 Asian Games Jakarta-Palembang!

Indian Athletics' unprecedented run continued at the Games on Day 9. Dharun Ayyasamy won silver in Men's 400m Hurdles event and also broke the national record. Sudha Singh won a Silver Women's 3000m Steeplechase. Another Silver was added to India's tally as Neena Varakil won it in Women's Long Jump. However, the standout performer was Neeraj Chopra, who was also India's flag bearer in the opening ceremony of the multi-sport extravaganza, who lived up to expectations and bagged GOLD for India in Men's Javelin Throw.

There was an exceptional outing in Badminton as well. While Saina had to settle for Bronze as she lost to Tai Tzu Ying in the semis, Sindhu made it to the final of the Women's Singles event after her win against Akane and will now face the World Number 1 in the summit clash today.

The Indian Men's Table Tennis Team also scripted history as they entered the Semifinals of the event and thereby secured a Bronze medal. They are set to face Korea in the Semis today.

The Day 10 of the Asian Games 2018 will see India take part in a wide variety of events today as they hope to improve their medal haul in Jakarta-Palembang.
