In no other sport have India won more medals at the Asian Games 2018 than Shooting but India finish the final shooting event by not evening qualifying for the Final. That means that despite winning nine medals in Shooting, none have come in the last two days. That will be a source of frustration and disappointment for India as they look back on the Asian Games.

Still a tally of nine medals, including four silver and three Bronze is not bad at all. However, there is still plenty of room for improvement and plenty of time for many of the youngsters who won medals like Saurabh Chaudhary, Lakshay Sheoran and Shardul Vihan to grow ahead of the next major event for the Indian shooters.

So that brings an end to Sportskeeda's coverage of Shooting at the Asian Games 2018. Hope you enjoyed it as much as us, be sure to check out Sportskeeda for all the live updates of every event that India are participating in. Goodbye.

India have won 29 medals so far in the Asian Games 2018. Nine of them have come from shooting but on day seven. India didn't manage a single medal. Can they improve that record today and end the shooting events at these Games on a high?

Irrespective of how the day pans out and despite all the disappointments, India have enjoyed a great run in shooting at the Asian Games 2018. Saurabh Chaudhary and Rahi Sarnobat have won GOLD and while the expected gold medal contenders in Manu Bhaker and Heena Sidhu couldn't quite live up to the hype, there were other stars who were unearthed.

It all began when 19-year-old Lakshay Sheoran won Silver on day two. Then 16-year-old Saurabh Chaudhary went one better on day three as he won GOLD and set the Asian Games Record in the 10m Air Pistol. Although 16-year-old Manu Bhaker didn't win any medal at the Asian Games 2018 she broke the Qualification Asian Games record in the Women's 25m Pistol. Then there was also the 15-year-old Shardul Vihan who took home silver on day five.

Can the four shooters competing in the Men's and Women's Skeet Qualification add to India's medal tally? Join us at 6.30 am IST to find out.
