India have had a fruitful day on the track yesterday, yielding as many as three silver medals from various events. The 400m run turned out to be a successful event for India, as youngster Hima Das notched up a silver in the women's event, while Muhammad Anas Yahiya clinched the same in the Men's event.

The star of the track, however, was Dutee Chand, who grabbed another silver in the Women's 100m sprint, in a photo finish that saw her miss the gold medal by 0.02 seconds.

Star Indian shuttler Saina Nehwal created history as she became the first Wommen's Singles player to secure at least a bronze medal for India at the Asian Games after she made it to the semifinals.
