Hello and Welcome to Sportskeeda's LIVE coverage of the 2018 Asian Games Jakarta-Palembang! Next up, is the Pool B Women's volleyball match between India and China.

India have had a fruitful day on the track yesterday, yielding as many as three silver medals from various events. The 400m run turned out to be a successful event for India, as youngster Hima Das notched up a silver in the women's event, while Muhammad Anas Yahiya clinched the same in the Men's event.

The star of the track, however, was Dutee Chand, who grabbed another silver in the Women's 100m sprint, in a photo finish that saw her miss the gold medal by 0.02 seconds.

Star Indian shuttler Saina Nehwal created history as she became the first Wommen's Singles player to secure at least a bronze medal for India at the Asian Games after she made it to the semifinals. PV Sindhu also made it to the semifinals of the same category, ensuring the second medal for India in badminton.

India also won a few surprising medals -- two silvers in Equestrian and two bronze in Bridge.

Volleyball action continues on Day 9. The Indian men were exceptional in their match against Japan yesterday. They played their hearts out but eventually lost the encounter 3-1.

The Indian women will be seen in action in volleyball today. They take on China in the Women's Tournament Pool B match.

Indian women have so far lost 3-0 to South Korea, 3-0 to Vietnam, 3-0 to Kazakhstan, and 2-3 to Chinese Taipei. Their last game against Taipei was truly a thriller.

The Indian women will be hoping to open their account today.
