After three months of continuous action in the Pro Kabaddi League, the world's biggest kabaddi stars are back in action this time in the Asian Kabaddi Championships 2017, which kick off today in Gorgan, Iran. India start as favourites in both the men's and women's categories but can expect fierce resistance from the likes of Iran, South Korea and Pakistan. 
 
In the men's draw, the Indian team have been drawn against Iraq, Japan, Afghanistan and arch-rivals Pakistan. They kick off their campaign with an opener against Iraq, which will start at 10 am IST on Friday.
