A very tactical and cautious display by the teams as both the teams could not find the back of the net in the 90 minutes. Bengaluru FC started the game on a positive note with an array of chances but squandered all of them.

NorthEast United came back into the game with few chances of their own. The second-half also saw both teams come close to scoring. Gyan hit the woodwork and a volley from Nishu Kumar was parried away by Roy Chowdhary. Bengaluru FC kept on pushing for the lead but a resilient NorthEast United defence saw the game end goalless.

Bengaluru FC travel to Goa on 28th October while NorthEast United host Odisha FC at home on 26th October.

Both teams came close to scoring. Bengaluru dominated proceedings in the first 30 minutes but United came back into the game in the latter half of the game. Raphael Augusto has been opening up the United defence on numerous occasions, but the Blues could not finish off their chances. Martin Chaves also came close to scoring and was denied.
