Local boy Munaf Patel, a World Cup winner, joins the Lions at his base price of Rs. 30 Lakh.

Lions still have Rs. 11.4 Cr in their purse.

In the meantime, Darren Sammy appears in the auction list. BP Rs. 30 lakh. He's bought by KXIP for the same amount.

The 26-year old Roy had expressed interest in playing the T20 league, and has more than 3000 runs in 130 T20 matches.

It has been a topsy-turvy ride for Manpreet Gony, who had forced his way into the Indian team in 2008 after strong performances for CSK. In 2012, he became the first bowler to bowl three maidens in a top-level T20 match while playing for Punjab in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
