...
Jagadeesha Suchith, winning captain for Mysuru:
"Boys put up a good show after what happened in the previous match. We had a good match with the ball and with the bat. Very crucial win for us. We are playing three back to back matches on 30th, 31st and 1st.

Aniruddha Joshi, losing captain for Shivamogga:
"We did well in the first 6 overs. We got what we wanted. But after that we lost too many wickets and we were 20 runs short. We will come back harder in the next match. We need to win all three matches. We will come out and give our 100%."

Raju Bhatkal of Mysuru, Man of the Match:
"All credit goes to my wicket-keeper who gave me small tips and that helped. I love batting with Arjun. He makes it so easy for me."
...
It was an under-par performance by the Lions across both batting and bowling departments. With the exception of Sharath and Somanna, none of the other batsmen clicked - 146 was a blessing for them, in fact. It was only a matter of when the Warriors would finish the chase. And with Arjun and Bhatkal delivering a sumptuous start, there was no looking back for them. Easy and thorough win.
