Juventus are the first team to qualify for the final, which is scheduled for 3rd June and will be held in Cardiff. As things stand now, the Old Lady will face Real Madrid in the final of the UEFA Champions League, unless Atletico Madrid mount a remarkable comeback.

It is a job well done by Massimiliano Allegri's side. The story was same in both the legs, Monaco dominated the early exchanges before Juventus exploited their frail defence on the counter. Dani Alves was the standout player for the Turin outfit having played a direct role in all of the 4 goals that his side scored, he assisted three while netting the fourth.

A lot was said about teenage sensation Kylian Mbappe, he did impress in patches before notching his 6th goal of the competition but it wasn't enough.

The win provides Gianluigi Buffon with one another and probably the last shot to win the coveted competition, will he finally be able to lift the trophy? We will have to wait and see.

88' Juventus have a free-kick on the edge of the Monaco box. Pjanic stands over it but his free-kick is deflected behind for a corner.

85' Substitution: Barzagli comes off for Mehdi Benatia

81' Moutinho has the ball - some 30 yards from goal - the Portuguese sizes it up and lets it fly from range but it sails over. Against Buffon, you need something very very special and that was hardly special.

The stamp on Higuain has angered the home fans and they are jeering everything.

80' The ball is played to Cuadrado on the right, the Colombian does a couple of stepovers before hitting an outside of the boot pass to Higuain who tries to connect with it with an overhead kick but misses horribly.

78' Substitution: Germain comes on to replace Bakayoko. Monaco are going for broke.

78' Juventus have no need to worry but the nerves are showing in their play. They have started wasting time too.

76' Fabinho has the ball, Juventus fans are jeering every touch by the Monaco players, and he bursts forward but cannot get the proper connection and it sails wide.

15 minutes, 3 goals. Surely it can't be done?

That was not a penalty, by any stretch of the imagination. Monaco are hanging on by whatever they can find.

74' Yellow Card: Bonucci is shown the card for his reaction after Fabinho went down inside the box.

72' Fabinho goes down inside the box under a challenge from MAndzukic and Bonucci is livid. Meanwhile, on the other end, Higuain is down after Glik stepped on him.

Monaco are bombing forward looking to score another. Can they get another?

Stat Attack: That is the first goal that Juventus have conceded from open play in the Champions League this season.

69' Substitution: Thomas Lemar comes on to replace Bernardo Silva.

From a corner the ball falls to Moutinho, who runs along the byline into the Juventus box, before laying it off for Mbappe, who has the simplest of tasks of burying it from a couple of yards out. That;s his 6th goal of the season in the Champions League.

69' GOOOAAALLL!! Mbappe scores! 2-1! 4-1 on aggregate!

67' Monaco almost scores! It is Mbappe who else, who finds space down the left bursts forward before he opens his body and tries to beat Buffon at his near post but the Italian blocks it.

Monaco are still harboring hopes of at least scoring one tonight as they continue to bomb forward.

63' Juventus are awarded a corner after Mandzukic and Raggi compete for the ball. The Monaco players are livid with the decision but the Croatian striker points to his shoulder and tells the referee it came off him and the decision is overturned. Fair Play to the Juventus striker.
Green Card anyone?

62' Moutinho and Silva combine down the right, with the latter getting the opportunity to swing one into the box, he does but it evades Falcao's diving head.

60' Bakayoko's flick on the edge of the Juve box is intercepted after some good work by Falcao to win the ball and cut it across the edge. Juve counter but Higuain is guilty of bringing his marker down.

58' Mandzukic and Alex Sandro come in each other's path while competing for an aerial ball, they are successfully able to pass it to Marchisio, who is fouled and Juve win a free-kick.

56' The corner is cleared but after some to and fro, Juve win another one. It is swung in and falls to the feet of Higuain, the Argentine turns and runs away from goal before trying to curl it into the top corner with a right-footed shot.

55' Cuadrado, who has just come on, is released down the right by Higuain and the Colombian strides forward before shooting from the right but it is blocked and Juve have a corner.

55' Substitution: Benjamin Mendy is replaced by Fabinho.

54' Substitution: Juan Cuadrado comes on to replace Paulo Dybala.

52' Yellow Card: Benjamin Mendy is booked for kicking the ball out after he has fouled Dybala.

51' Dybala has the ball after Monaco are caught in possession, once again, he pings it forward to Higuain who brings it down excellently but cannot make anything happen from it.

49' Bakayoko brings down Dybala near the halfway line. Monaco shouldn't lose their composure now. They might have lost the game but they still need to play for their pride.

47' Dani Alves is down clutching his ankle after Jemerson stomps on his foot.

46' And we are underway in the second half!

Monaco are down and out of the competition. No way are they scoring 4 goals against this Juventus team without conceding. However, never say never and probably that is what Jardim will be telling his charges. For if they overturn this, not only will it be the Best COMEBACK of this edition of the CHAMPIONS LEAGUE, it will be the greatest comeback of all time. PERIOD.

What a semi-final Dani Alves is having. He assisted the two goals at Stade Louis II and today, having assisted the opener, he has sealed the game and a place for his team in the finals with a humdinger of a strike!

HALF-TIME: Juventus 2-0 Monaco

Pjanic swings the cross, Subasic punches it clear and it falls to Dani Alves outside of the box, the Brazilian connects with it on the volley and it nestles into the back of the net. 2-0 to Juventus on the night, 4-0 on aggregate. WHAT A STRIKE THAT WAS!

44' Dybala's shot is saved by Subasic, who is frustrated by his teammates. Juventus have a corner.

42' WOOOOFFF!!! MONACO almost score. Mendy burst down the left and plays a tantalizing cross into the box which evades Mbappe and Falcao, but forces Chiellini to clear and the ball evades the far post by a matter of inches. 9 times out of 10, that is a goal but not tonight!

40' YELLOW CARD: Falcao is the player to be booked tonight as he slipped and crashed into the back of Chiellini leg.

39' It has become a routine affair now, Monaco bomb forward with all their might, lose the ball and are exposed on the counter. Leonardo Jardim needs to wake his team up if they are to have a chance to get something from this tie.

38' Higuain is released once again, the Argentine drifts to the left and takes a shot with his left-foot but it is straight at Subasic.
